PRODUCT REVIEW // NATIO LOVE BEING YOU NATURAL NUDES EYESHADOW, ILLUMINATING FACE PALETTE AND ROSEGOLD KABIKI BRUSH

These days we are so lucky that the access to international beauty brands is getting easier and easier, but that said, I still love when local Aussie brands are right on trend and offer some high quality products. And one of my favourite Australian brands, is of course none other than Natio.

They have just launched a new range called Love Being You, which is all about embracing the luminous shades of nude, bronze and rose this season, with shades that work in perfect harmony with your natural beauty. And personally such subtle neutral shades immediately appeal to me, as it is my go-to shades on a daily basis.

There are six products in the range, all allowing you create a natural nude look, a rose glow with subtle peach and rose tones, or a bronze look highlighting features with sun-kissed radiance. I have put a few of the products to the test, including;

The Natio Natural Nudes Mineral Eyeshadow Palette is an eyeshadow palette containing six mineral eyeshadows. All the shades are very wearable, ranging from pear, nude, taupe, brown and peachy shades, in a combination of matte and shimmery shades. You can use then individually as you like, or of course mix them up in any combination to add definition or brighten up. The palette comes with two double ended sponge applicators. I tend to prefer a subtle eye but as the shadows are fairly pigmented, you can crate a slightly darker look if you like, though keeping in mind that the darkest shade in the palette is not that dark. Personally I like that, as I have plenty of other very dark shades to add intensity if I like, and the mix of these pale to medium shaded colours means that it is the perfect palette for every day use, as you will actually use every single shade.

Next up is the Natio Illuminating Mineral Powder Face Palette. This face palette contains four mineral powders to contour, illuminate, highlight and add warmth to the face. It contains a very pale pastel pink shade to highlight, a slightly darker shade as blush, a pale beige to contour and a medium shaded bronzer to add warmth. The powders are easy to apply and blend with a large brush, and I like that they got a subtle shimmer, that is not over the top, but gives you a nice radiant look. Often face palettes containing multiple shades have several shades that I don’t find suit my skin tone, so I am very happy that every single one of these are a great match for my medium skin tone.

Finally, there’s the Natio Retractable Kabuki Brush, which is seriously so pretty with its rose-gold packaging. It has synthetic bristles, that are so super soft, and it is perfect for using with various powders from highlighters, bronzers, and blushes. I really like that it is retractable, as it makes it perfect for popping into the handbag when you’re on the go, or travelling, without making a mess in your handbag (or damaging the brush!!), and making touch-ups on the go so easy. Plus it’ll get you another chance to admire the beautiful brush too.
