SCHOOL HOLIDAY FUN - MELBOURNE BIG TICKET VISITING SEA LIFE MELBOURNE AND LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTRE MELBOURNE

I am sure that I am not the only mummy who is struggling keeping my kids entertained during the school holidays. Naturally, my kids are not used to being entertained, and going to fun places every single day of the week, but when you go from being hyper active all day in kindergarten (or school), with lots of fun things to do and play with, then I can understand that simply being home with mummy all day can become a little boring.

But there are some cool and entertaining places you can take your kids (which you may actually enjoy too… and because of the school holidays, there are some great entry offers too with the Melbourne Big Ticket where you get entry to two attractions, Sea Life Melbourne and Legoland Discovery Centre at a great discounted price… But let’s first have a look at the attractions..

At Sea Life in Melbourne, the PAW Patrol Puts go on Sea Patrol, during these school holidays.

The interactive experience will take families on a ‘pawsome’ underwater quest throughout the aquarium, where the kids need to find the missing PAW Patrol pups and save the day. No job is too big, no pup is too small!

As we entered the entry to Sea Life (or the Aquarium as my little boys call it), kids are given a PAW Patrol pup pack including wearable puppy ears, a treasure hunt map and a PAW Patrol sticker sheet. And then they need to follow the map (and the paw prints you’ll find on the floors as little clues!) to find all of the PAW Patrol SEA Patrol pups who are hiding throughout Sea Life Melbourne. And as you leave, the kids can also pose with the PAW Patrol pups at the photo wall for a fun memorable keep sake.

Of course, visiting the Sea Life, the kids can also see and learn about the sea life, and see things like turtles, sharks, manta rays, sea horses, penguins, and more different species of fish than you can ever imagine swimming around in the beautifully created coral reef. There’s also a rock pool where the kids can touch and feel different things such as sea stars and shark’s eggs.

At Legoland Discovery Centre Melbourne, they have a special Space Mission on these school holidays, where the kids can rocket into outer space and embark on a galactic adventure.

As the kids enter Legoland, they are given a space mask so that they can look the part, before starting their expedition of the scavenger hunt in the Lego Mainland to help a fellow space cadet find the missing pieces of his spaceship.

Afterwards, the kids build their own spaceship in the creative workshops, and also go on rides in Merlin’s Apprentice ride, where you have to keep pedalling to keep your plane high in the air, if you stop, you will drop…! The kids can also go to the Space Training Centre, where the little cosmic travellers will be tested on their knowledge of the solar system’s planets.

Of course, while they are at Legoland, they can enjoy all the other activities there, including the various play and build zones, including the Kingdom Quest laser ride, the LEGO City Soft Play Zone, as well as go watch a movie in the 4D cinema.

These activities are seriously cool, and the kids will absolutely love them. And right now, there is a special offer, where you can purchase a special Melbourne Big Ticket, giving you access to both attractions, at a great price.
