PRODUCT REVIEW: NATIO BROW KIT AND HIGHLIGHTER DUO
Today I'm excited to be talking about Natio again… the other day I told you about the Natio limited edition release of the Naturally You Eye Shadow Palettes, which you can read more about here - and today I am excited to be telling you more about another of their recent new releases, the Natio Brow Kit and the Highlighter Duo.
The Natio Brow Kit is a little kit that contains everything you need for perfectly groomed and shaped brows, including Brow Powders, a Brow Wax, an Angled Brow Brush, Tweezers, Round Grooming Brush, and even a small mirror.
There's a light and a dark brow powder so there is one to fit most brow colours, and they are both quite pigmented and easy to build to the depth of shade you want. I only need to use the tiniest amount as I prefer a more subtle look, and I've been using the darker shade, which is a great fit for my dark brows. And the angled brush makes this super easy as you can create fine small lines to fill in your brows for a very natural look. And actually, you can also use these brow powders as both eye shadows and even eyeliner too, and who doesn’t look a good multi-tasking product.
Once filled in, the final step is to brush the colour through, style and tame the brows with the spoolie brush, and set everything in place with the clear wax.
This is such a great kit that really does contain everything you need. I love that it comes with all the tools, and that there's a small mirror in the compact too, but personally I'd never apply brow product on the go, so I won't really use the mirror. The tools are very useful, but also very small, - and as I do have longer-shafted brow tools myself, I do prefer to use those as I simply find it easier, but at least they are included so you're covered in you haven't got any yourself.
Then there's the Natio Highlighter Duo is a double-ended highlighter pencil, which can be used to add luminous glow. The pencil has a golden shimmery shade in one end and a pink shimmery shade in the other, and it is so soft and smooth to apply and easy to blend too. It can be used for so many things, including
In the inner corners of the eye, under the brows, on the bridge of the nose, top of the cheekbones or on the cupid’s bow for a healthy glow, or even as a subtle eye shadow, which I admit to also have done with both shades individually -and it stays put all day without fading or settling into creases.
As I expected, these product are really lovely, and of the usual high quality I've come to expect from Natio, so I definitely recommend that you check them out. For me, the highlight was probably the Highlighter Duo, simply because I love the fact that I can use it as an eyeshadow stick as well, but note that it is limited edition, so you best hurry if you want to get your hands on one.
Natio Brow Kit - RRP: $19.95
Natio Highlighter Duo - RRP: $17.95

PRODUCT REVIEW: NATIO NATURALLY YOU EYESHADOW PALETTES IN BLOOM AND EARTH
Natio has long been one of my favourite Australian brands, and now, due to popular demand, they are bring back another limited release of the Naturally You Eyeshadow Palettes.
These eyeshadow palettes are so beautiful and come in two colour combination, each containing 12 complimentary shades inspired by nature.
The Bloom Palette contains a spectrum of blushing shades from nude, soft pinks, to dusty rose hues, copper, rich plums, and dark chocolate, while the Earth shade contains a selection of subtle nudes, beiges, mauves, and mochas, through to golden and copper tones, and deep graphite hues.
Each of the palettes are so versatile containing natural selection of matte and shimmery shades, which I really like as you can create any look you like, from a super simple every day look, using just a shade or two, to an intense smoky eye for a night out.
Taking the low price of just $19.95 into account, these eyeshadows are very good value, as the silky soft shades are also very easy to apply and blend with the included double ended applicator which has a sponge in one end and a brush in the other.
The shadows are also quite pigmented, so you can quite easily build up the colours to be quite intense, as well as they are all fairly long wearing, although the darker colours seem to be both more intense both with pigments as well as longevity - But generally they do wear quite well throughout the day, even on my slightly greasy eyelids.
The palette comes in a sturdy clear compact, that is simple, yet stunning. The compact doesn't come with a mirror, but personally I don't mind as I never apply eyeshadow on the go anyway.
Both of these palettes are stunning, and I am actually finding it hard to pick a favourite, as they are both contain shades that I reach for on a daily basis, and I will actually use every single colour in both palette, which is pretty rare for me. So if you're into nude looks, they I highly recommend that you get your hands on one, you won't regret it - but you better hurry, as they are limited edition and sure to sell out fast!

PRODUCT REVIEW: NATIO POWDER ROOM NATURALS
Today I'm excited to share with you a new range of gorgeous products for the home, the Natio luxurious new hand care and natural home fragrance range, Powder Room Naturals.
This new gorgeous range is available in two different aromatic themes, a floral bouquet of Lavender balanced with Mandarin and Lemon or a zesty blend of refreshing Peppermint, Lime and Bergamot to naturally re-energise your senses. As I love anything citrusy, I've put the zesty range to the test. The range includes among others citrus and mint aromas combined with nourishing plant extracts to purify and re-energise your skin.
Let's start with the Refresh Cleansing Bar, which is a soap bar infused with invigorating pieces of citrus peel and leaves, this luxurious cleansing bar combines Sesame, Almond and Jojoba oils to smooth and nourish the skin. I admit that I am not overly fond of soap bars - but mainly because I do find they quickly become a little messy - but thankfully Natio has thought of that as the Cleansing Bar comes in a premium smoky brown plastic container that can be used to store it, and prevent it from leaving a mess on your sink. And I do have to admit that this soap bar is gorgeous, and I really love the refreshing citrus scent, and the fact that it gently cleanses my skin without drying it out.
That said, I am loving the Divine Hand Wash even more. This Divine liquid soap that has been enriched with Apricot Kernel, Jojoba and Sesame to purify and soften hard working hands. It gently washes the hands, and thanks to the added ingredients, the soft lather doesn't dry out your hands, but leaves them soft. I love that pepperminty-citrusy scent is so fresh, I also love that it is a very gender-neutral scent that is perfect to use in your powder room for the whole family to use.
And as we enter the cold winter months where my hands do tend to become a little drier, I do love having a hand cream in my powder room to use throughout the day. And I have been loving the Revitalise Hand Balm. This lovely cream is loaded with among others shea butter, cocoa seed butter, coconut oil, rosehip oil, sweet almond and macadamia oil, and is a non-greasy cream that is fast absorbing leaving the hands so soft and intensely moisturised. The peppermint scent is slightly more dominant in this cream, and a citrus lover, I would have loved it to be a little more citrusy, but regardless, it is a gorgeous scent - and again, one that is perfect even for the males in house. My husband has even commented that he likes it and the fact that it is not girly or floral, which I admit really is a refreshing change.
Finally, there's the Zesty Room Spray, which contains among others essential oils of lime and peppermint. The fresh and zesty spray immediately makes your house smell beautiful, disguising bad smells from for instance cooking, pets, or perhaps in the toilet. Personally, I love using it in the powder room, so I know it always has a pleasant and welcoming smell.
All the Natio Home products come in gorgeous bottles and containers, with black and white labels, which give them a simplistic, yet stunning and classic look. Just how I like it!!
These products are truly gorgeous. They are beautiful to use, smell incredible, look amazing, - and are very affordable too, so I definitely highly recommend that you check these out!

PRODUCT REVIEW: NATIO SUNLIT MINERAL BRONZER AND RADIANT MINERAL BLUSH
Today I'd like to share with you two limited edition products from Natio, which have been brought back due to popular consumer demand, the Sunlit Mineral Bronzer and the Radiant Mineral Blush.
These palettes have the most stunning mosaic patterns of matching shades, and are both enriched with vitamin E and rosehip oil to care for the skin along with absorbent kaolin and light reflecting mica to help blur imperfections and give a bronzed look w and rosy cheeks.
The Natio Sunlit Mineral Bronzer is a palette contains five complementary shades including light mocha, apricot, golden tan and cocoa brown hues, and give the skin a gorgeous healthy glow, without making it look orange, or unnatural. I generally prefer matte bronzers, as often I find that bronzers have way too much shimmer and sheen (which often makes my combination skin look oily and greasy on warm days!), but this bronzer actually has just the right amount of sheen, and consequently gives the skin a radiant glow at the same. The shades are obviously intended to be use in combination by swirling around a large brush, but if using a smaller brush, individual shades can also be used for contouring.
The Natio Radiant Mineral Blush, is also a mosaic palette, containing five different shades, including light peach, dusty rose, a warmer rose and a slightly bright rose, and again and combined, these shades applied to the apples of your cheeks, or applied on along the cheekbones, gives your skin a beautiful and natural flushed look. Again, shades can of course be used individually if desired.
Both palettes are made from finely milled powders that are easy to apply and blend, and they are both quite pigmented too, so you can apply just a little, or easily build up the intensity.
The round palettes have a clear lid so you can easily distiquish the two, and while the bronzer has standard size for a bronzer, the same sized blush, is consequently larger than most blushes, which makes it good value too.
What I also like is that they are made free from sulphates and parabens, and also that they are free from fragrances, - yet still smell lovely, no doubt from the added rosehip oil.
Overall I am really enjoying using these palettes, and thanks to the combination of shades in each of the palettes, they are perfect for a range of skin colours, and if you do have a lighter or darker skin tone, or simply prefer a darker shaded blush, you can simply apply more of the darker shades of the palettes to tailor your needs.
Natio Sunlit Mineral Bronzer - RRP: $19.95
Natio Radiant Mineral Blush - RRP: $19.95

BRAND FOCUS: NATIO MAKEUP
Natio has long been one of my favourite Australian brands, so today I like to share a few favourites with you..
First up is the Natio Cream to Powder Foundation, which is enriched with argan, jojoba, vitamin E, beeswax and bamboo stem extract to care and condition the skin, and as promised it is easy to apply evenly, and can be built up to a good full coverage, while still looking natural and not caked on, and still feels nice and light on the skin. It easily covers all redness, pigmentation and uneven skin tone, and surprisingly manages to stay put and looking matte all day on my combination skin, and without the need to apply powder on top. It comes in a stylish black compact with a mirror inside the lid, as well as sponge, so you can apply on the go if needed. At a very reasonable $19.95, it is easy to see why this foundation has just won the award for the 'Best Make-Up Product (Steal)' for 2016 in the Australian Prix de Marie Claire Awards - It is a really lovely foundation and I can see myself purchasing it again. My only negative about this foundation is that it is only available in three shades, Light, Light Honey and Medium - I've normally got a medium beige skin tone, and tried the middle shade, Light Honey, which sadly is a tad on the dark side for me, so in other words, if I need to use the lightest shade, then those with a very pale skin tone would find difficult to find a match!
The Naturally You Eyeshadow Palette in Bloom. This palette features 12 beautiful earthy toned shades ranging from a nude, through to pale pink, dusty rosy, plum, browns, mochas, copper and deep chocolate. In short, anything you'd need to create anything from a simply everyday look, through to a more elaborate earthy smoky eye. And personally I find this selection perfect, as it contains jus the shades I need, so I will get full use of every single shade in the compact.
The shadows range between shimmery satin and matte textures, and are all quite pigmented, so you can quite easily build up the colours to be quite intense, as well as they are all fairly long wearing, although the darker colours seem to be both more intense both with pigments as well as longevity.
The palette comes in a sturdy clear compact, that is simple, yet stunning, and it comes with a double-ended sponge and brush applicator. It doesn't have a mirror, but I honestly don't mind as I never apply eyeshadow on the go anyway.
Next up is the Natio Moisturising Lip Gloss in the shade Magical, which is a gorgeous dusty rose shade wit a nice sheen, perfect for everyday use. The actual lip gloss is infused with jojoba, shea and vitamin E to ensure that lips are kept moisturised and smooth, and to prevent premature ageing. And it does feel so lovely and soft on the lips without being sticky or tacky. Being a lip gloss it naturally doesn't have the longest of wear, but it does stay put for a few hours (or less if you eat or drink), but that is quite reasonable too. And even when it has worn off, your lips remain soft as if you've just applied a nourishing lip balm. It comes in a clear tube with a pointed foot-doe applicator that makes it super easy to apply, and it has a lovely sweet vanilla scent.
The Natio Nail Colour in in Natural is pale beige, shade that is the perfect nude shade for an understated look, the sort of shade that I wear most often on my nails, especially during summer as it simply looks stunning on tanned hands. The nail polish features a large flat brush that makes it quick to apply evenly and streak-free in just a few strokes, and it dries very quickly too. As with most pale nail polishes, you do require two coats, but then you also get a wear of 4-5 days before it starts to chip at the edges, although you can of course extend with the use of a base and top coat. I also love that the Natio nail polishes are 3-free and hence free from the harsh chemicals such as Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP.
So there you go, some great from Natio, all of which are absolutely stunningly beautiful products and worth a try, and I know I'll be reaching for these in the coming months, and certainly wouldn't mind getting hold of a few more shades of lip glosses and nail colours!

THREE OF A KIND: TINTED MOISTURISERS
Today I’d like to put focus on three different tinted
moisturisers;
Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream Tinted Moisturiser SPF15*
Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream Tinted Moisturiser SPF15*
This cream promises to be both a BB Cream and a Tinted
Moisturiser, which I guess essentially are two different things – but to be
honest I would call it more of a Tinted Moisturiser, mainly because it as a
very sheer tint. This means that it doesn’t give the skin much coverage, so it
is perfect for those with picture-perfect skin without a blemish, scarring or
pigmentation. But in saying that, it also only promises a ‘splash of sheer
colour’ so you cannot fault the cream for its lack of coverage!
The formula has a lovely fresh fruity scent and has a nice
rich creamy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, and it feels very
lovely on the skin, making it feel soft, hydrated and with a nice dewy and
glowing finish. As it is so moisturising, it is probably also best suited for
those with normal and dry skin types, as
on my combination skin, it did get a bit too shiny by the afternoon, but
then again, so do most foundations during summer! It comes with SPF15, which is
lovely, although a higher SPF would always be nicer!
It promises to refresh, brighten, even skin tone, hydrate
and smooth, and manages to live up to four of the claims, but sadly not doing
much to even out my pigmented skin!
RRP: $16.99 (50ml) – Available from Priceline, Supermarkets,
Variety Stores and Select Pharmacies
This tinted moisturiser from Natio promises a sheer veil of
radiant colour, and as such it offers just ever so slightly better coverage
than the Olay cream. The Natio Tinted Moisturiser does, as promised, thanks to
containing mineral pigments, even out minor imperfections, and leaves the skin
with a nice radiant demi-matte finish.
The cream contains among others Grape seed, jojoba, evening
primrose, chamomile and aloe help to keep skin soft and supple, and work to
protect it from free radical damage, supporting cell repair and moisture
levels, so it is a true multi-tasking product with skincare meeting foundation,
as this is all you need – and as it also contains broad spectrum SPF50, it even
has your sun protection needs covered too.
The cream is very light – surprisingly considering the high
SPF – and is so easy to blend onto the skin, absorbing quickly, and without any
stickiness. Often high SPF products make my skin look shiny and feel greasy almost
as if it cannot breathe, but on the contrary, this cream feels lovely on my
combination skin, and stays put most of the day too!
RRP: $18.95 – Available from Priceline, Department Stores,
Select Pharmacies, and Natio Online
Finally, the Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moistruriser,
which is also the most expensive of the line-up today. This moisturiser also
adds the most coverage, covering minor pigmentation, redness and blemishes, and
it is also buildable so you can reapply to the areas that need a little more
coverage, all while still leaving the face with a natural glowing dewy look,
yet still without being too shimmery. All I need is a touch of concealer to
cover dark circles under my eyes and a few larger areas of pigmentation.
The cream is quite moisturising so I actually feel I don’t
need to use a moisturiser beforehand, at least not on my combination skin during
summer (although I do use a serum first), yet it is quite lightweight, and stays
put most of the day without making my face look shiny, although a light dusting
of powder is required at by the afternoon. If you can afford the splurge, it is
well worth it.

NATIO SPRING FLING
Spring has arrived and we’ve already had some gorgeous warm sunny days. Personally spring is my favourite time of year as I simply love seeing everything come to live again after a long wet and cold winter. And seeing some bright colours is so lovely too after wearing so much dark clothes overwinter. So to kiss bye-bye to winter and welcome spring with an array of Mother Nature’s blooming brights, here I’d like to share with you the perfect products for a Spring Fling with Natio*..
On my nails I love the red and berry coloured shades. The Natio Nail Colours are incredibly easy to apply thanks to the wide brush, and I was actually surprised that just one coat of Wonder was almost enough for a full coverage, although I still applied a second coat.
On the other hand Ruby, which is a darker red and you’d imagine would give you a better coverage, actually applies quite sheer in the first coat, but after the second coat you still get the perfect coverage. Regardless, the wear of the polishes is unbelievable, lasting 4+ days without a top coat, and while washing and using my hand a lot, which I personally think is fantastic for a polish is free from formaldehyde and will set you back less than $10.
Ruby is such a classic red shade that you just cannot go wrong, and it is one of those shades you just have to have in your collection, while Wonder is a stunning bight almost fluoro-pink fuschia shade.
RRP: $9.95 (15ml) – Available from Priceline, Department Stores, Select Pharmacies and Natio Online
The Natio Smoothie Lop Colour Crayon enriched with conditioning jojoba seed oil and shea butter give you soft and smooth lips which makes it so comfortable to wear.
The crayon is quite pigmented so it will give you a nice colour, which can range from just a sheer wash of colour with a quick swipe or a more intense and saturated look with another coat or two. The crayon style lip colour is easy to apply on the go thanks to the pointy tip. T
he colour Poppy is a orangy-red shade that gives your lips a nice colour, which still being so subtle that it is perfect for a casual day out. It wears very well lasting several hours on the lips and even when it has faded, it still leaves a nice even stain behind. I also love that these crayons are free of parabens, paraffin, mineral oil, DEA, BHA and Carmine. RRP: $12.95 – Available from Priceline, Department Stores, Select Pharmacies and Natio Oline
The Natio Antioxidant Lip Shine is a nourishing lip gloss that has been infused with vitamins and fruit extracts to add sophisticated shine and natural fullness to lips.
And in spite of being a lip gloss, it has a credible pigmentation that leaves the lips saturated with colour and an intense glossy finish. It is so easy to apply directly from the tube, and is perfect to use both on its own as well as on top of any lipstick for added gloss and colour. It wears fairly well considering it is a lipgloss, although the glossy finish does wear off after a while, and quicker if you eat or drink, but it leaves being a nice colour on the lips that does last a few hours. And you cannot help but love the sweet fruity scent.
RRP: $11.95 – Available from Priceline, Department Stores, Select Pharmacies and Natio Online
When spring starts and it has been months since the sun has kissed your cheeks, I am usually looking very pale and consequently also tired. And nothing helps quicker than a blush and bronzer, and with the fantastic two-in-one Blush and Bronze in Sunkissed, you can instantly add colour, glow and radiance to your face. Sunkissed contains peachy and earthy warm shades, with three blush shades in the top of the compact, a highlighter and a bronzer. You can use the colours on their own or you can blend them all together for a nice glow. It has just the right amount of shimmer to give you a nice radiant look without making your look too shimmery. The powder has a stunning sunray-embossed pattern and a nice silky finish and is easy to apply and blend with a large brush. The blush bronzer comes in a stylish black compact with a large mirror that makes touch ups on the go easy. Gotta love a good multi-functional product!
RRP: $19.95 – Available from Priceline, Department Stores, Select Pharmacies and Natio Online
