ANTOPODES NIRVANA HAND AND BODY WASH, HEAVENLY BODY OIL, DELIGHT HAND AND BODY CREAM - NATUAL AND ORGANIC // PRODUCT REVIEW

You may recall I’ve talked about some amazing lipsticks from the New Zealand brand Antipodes not too long ago (if you missed it, you can read about them here), anyway, to day I am excited to put some of their skincare products to the test..

The Antipodes products are made using a combination of the highest quality ingredients from New Zealand nature along with raw super-fruit extracts to create high-tech certified organic formulations.

The Antipodes Nirvana Hand & Body Wash is intended for both him and her. It is made using among others hibiscus flower to brighten the skin, kiwi seed oil rich in omega 3 as well as Vitamins C and E, to help improve skin elasticity and reduce fine lines, as well as Harakeke Flax, an oil that deeply moisturises the skin, and has antiseptic blemish qualities while soothing and calming the skin.

The soap is super gentle and cleanses your skin leaving it so soft and smooth, and I think the added spearmint also gives it a slightly cooling feeling on the skin, making it very fretting to use, and thus the perfect wakeup call when using it in the morning.

It has a gorgeous natural subtle scent as it is scented with pure plant fragrances from wild blackcurrant, spearmint and cardamon. The simple oil style pump bottle not only looks great in the bathroom, it is also easy to use.

Then there’s the Antipodes Heavenly Body Oil, which is made using organic oils from avocado, which is rich in nutrients to help hydrate the skin, increase collagen products and keep the skin soft and supple, macadamia nut oil, which contains palmitoleic acid, an essential fat that decreases as skin ages, as well as jojoba oil which helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles and scars.

I love using a body oil, especially during the cooler months where my skin tends to get a little drier. And this one from Antipodes is so beautiful. It is super rich so you only need the smallest amount, and as it is so rich it does take a few moments to absorb into the skin. But the wait is worthwhile, as once it has, the skin is left so silky soft and smooth for the rest of the day, and every touch of dryness is immediately gone. It has a gorgeous subtle floral scent from the added pure plant fragrances from jasmine, lavender and ylang ylang.

Finally, there’s the Antipodes Delight Hand & Body Cream. This cream can be used as both a body and hand cream, but personally I admit to only using it as a hand cream for the simple reason that it is so gorgeous that I want it to last longer! The cream is rich and creamy, and made using organic oils from avocado, which is rich in nutrients to help hydrate the skin, increase collagen products and keep the skin soft and supple, macadamia nut oil, which contains palmitoleic acid, an essential fat that decreases as skin ages, along with Marigold bloom oil to help soften the most dries of skin, and

Vinanza Grape, and antioxidant extract that helps improve the skin’s elasticity and firmness.

This cream is so lovely, with everything from the pretty blue tube, to the lovely silky soft and smooth skin, to the beautiful scent from the pure plant fragrance of vintage gardenia. It absorbs fairly quickly into the skin, which is also why I like using it as a hand cream only, as it means I can get on with things immediately without leaving greasy fingerprints everywhere.

These products from Antipodes truely are beautiful. They look amazing, feel incredibly heavenly on the skin, and smell so delightful, plus the fact that they are natural and organic, just makes it even better.
