Having little kids, finding toys that can keep them entertained when out and about, can often be a trick, and can turn mummy and daddy's lunch or coffee out, into a right nightmare. And our 4yo is definitely at the stage where he is so full of energy that sitting still for longer periods of time, can be a difficult task. But lately he's been having so much fun with some cool toys from TONO, including the Knights & Dragons Pop-up Castle and the Knights & Dragons Checkers.
The TONO Knights & Dragons Pop-up Castle is a cool 'pop up, stick & play set', which is a reusable sticker collection and play board in one. The set comes in a slim carry case, and you simply fold it out to create two different castle play scenes, as well as a stand for the knight. And they your little one can get creative decorating the castle, both internally and externally with the stickers, as well as change the accessories of the knight. And it can be done over and over again.
The set comes with 30 stickers, complete with knights armour, shield, swords, rats, spiders, bats, and sculls, they will also stick to any other smooth surface, so there are hours and hours of fun in this playset.
As a parent, I love that this set is a 'quiet toy' that our boy can sit quietly and play, while using his imagination and creativity. It is the perfect toy to take when going out for i.e. a meal, and when done, everything packs up neatly again. It is suitable for kids aged 5+, but again our 4 year old is having so much fun with it, and 2 year old brother loves joining in too.
Personally I've never seen any toys like these before, and knowing how much my boys love stickers too, I really like the idea of how these can be used again and again and again, and the fact that it requires them to use their imagination as they play.
