PRODUCT REVIEW: BOON INC PLATES AND SNUG STRAWS

As a mummy with two little kids, cleaning up the after match after meals can be quite frustrating. Food ending up on the floor because plates slip off the table, or cups that are knocked and spilling... But thanks to Boon Inc, there's help on the way.. 

The Boon Inc edgeless plates have a rubbery slip-resistant bottom, so won't slide off the table onto the floor by the swipe of a tiny arm. And the slightly raised edge also means food wont slide off the plate as easily either. They come in pack of three fun colours, including orange, turquoise and lime green, which my kids really love. The plates are intended for smaller kids, just starting out with their food, from 9+ months, so for my two kids, aged 2 and 4, they are tad on the smaller size for dinners, but thy work perfectly for lunches, snacks or fruit. And while the plates are hard, they will still survive a trip on the floor, should it happen. I also love that they are made without BPA, PVC phthalate, so they are safer for your kids too. 

But what about the drinks. Both my boys are old enough not to use bottles or straws, but I admit that during the day they always have a spill-proof bottle each, as it simply makes them drink more water throughout the day, and without all the spilling all over the house. And that's where the Boon Inc Snug Straws come in. These clever silicone straw lids fit perfectly over any cup with a 2.5”–3” diameter, so you can turn any cup into a sippy-cup. The pack comes with three lids in fun colours, including pink, purple and turquoise, and come with three straws too - but the straw hold fits any straw, so you can replace them, and use disposable straws too if you like. The lids are seriously such a great idea, and perfect to pop into the handbag too for kids to use when they are out, including trips to grandparents. Again I really love that these are made without BPA or PVC.
