A while ago, I purchased the Nivea Pure & Natural Body Lotion as
well as the Hand Cream, which I absolutely loved – they were both such great
value for money. (I’ll make sure to post a review on both soon).
Anyway, on a recent trip to Europe, I got
very excited when I saw that there in fact are several other products in the
Pure & Natural product range.
Nivea Pure & Natural Cleansing Milk, Cleansing Toner,
Anti-Wrinkle Day Cream and Night Cream. All products contain organic argan oil and refreshing aloe vera, and are formulated without parabens, artificial colours, silicone or mineral oils.
I did not get a chance to try these products, also because I assumed that they would be available in Australia, but unfortunately that did not seem to be the case. Hopefully these products will be on the shelves here soon, as personally I find that it's fantastic news that mainstream brands are launching products containing less harmful chemical ingredients.
I also saw a new range of Nivea shower gels, which looked amazing. There were several different variations, including Lemon and Oil Shower Gel, Sunny Melon and Oil Shower Gel and Water Lily and Oil Shower Gel.
Loving lemon scented products, in fact it is one of my favourite scents, I just had to try the Lemon and Oil Shower Gel, and it really did have the most amazing lemon scents, so refreshing and uplifting.
I did also have a quick smell of the other varieties, and let me tell you, they all smell incredible. They all feature oil pearls and Hydra IQ moisture technology that leaves the skin feeling soft and thoroughly moisturised.
Let's hope that these gorgeous shower gels from Nivea will also be available here in Australia soon.
Finally, I also came across the Nivea Double Effect Shower and Shave, which is a two-in-one product, a shower cream that doubles as a shaving cream. And loving multi-tasking products, I just had to try this one as well. It has a delicate scent of passion fruit, which is just so divine.
As a shower cream, it was really creamy, and glided over my skin, making it feel soft, silky smooth and moisturised after my shower, no doubt due to containing soothing avacado oil.
Used as a shaving cream, I felt that my legs and arm pits were left softer and smoother than when I use a shaving gel. And I felt that the shave was closer to my skin so it took a few extra days before my hair started to grow back.
But again, sadly this amazing two-in-one shower and shaving cream is not yet available in Australia - and I really hope it won't be too long, as I really fell in love with this product.
Do you like the sound of these new products from Nivea? And which ones are you most keen to try?
I would love to try that shower cream! Can't wait for it to come here :)

DeleteLovely post, Im intrigued by the shower gel/shaving gel!
ReplyDeleteI really liked it, so I hope it will be available here soon. Fingers crossed..
DeleteI have to admit I'm not a fan of Nivea. I find most of their body moisturisers have a really odd and off putting smell. Also they seem to be greasy. I do love their hand cream though.
ReplyDeleteThe Pure & Natural has a very different scent to the rest their range, personally I find it a lot nicer, and more natural too!
