Product News: Clinique Launches Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup

I have always loved Clinique foundations, and have used them since 1999. New ones have been added through the years, and I have kept finding a new favourite. My current favourite is Even Better Foundation, which does such a good job at disguising my pigmentation and uneven skin tone.

But now Clinique is launching a new foundation, which has me intrigued – the Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup - and with my combination combination skin and large pores, this sounds just perfect.

 

The foundation is for those who have large pores and look for ways to minimise their appearance, or try to conceal them. Although some think a foundation is an easy fix, finding the right formula can be a challenge. Attempting to cover pores with heavy makeup can result in an artificial look, and may even lead to clogged pores that can cause breakouts or stretch over time, causing the skin to appear older. To conceal large pores, foundation needs a lightweight texture that provides seamless coverage.

The new Clinique Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup is a liquid makeup that delivers a nearly poreless look, instantly and over time.

The new makeup incorporates the same high-powered pore resurfacing complex found in Clinique’s Pore Refining Solutions Correcting Serum. Pore Refining Solutions Instant Perfecting Makeup instantly disguises the look of pores through optics while working to minimise their appearance over time. This lightweight, breathable formula glides on smoothly and blends effortlessly to help create visibly flawless skin.

The makeup smoothes and conceals instantly, while sophisticated spherical optical diffusers and soft focus materials capture and diffuse light to immediately soften and blur the appearance of large pores.

It refines skin and minimises pores, using Padina Pavonica Extract and Salvia Sclarea, which work together to build up the pore surface to help pores appear smaller. It also contains Salicylic Acid, which gently clears out dead and dulling skin cells that build up around the edges of pores, keeping pores clear so they don’t stretch out and appear larger than they really are. Finally, it also contains Laminaria Saccharina Extract minimises sebum production that may cause pores to stretch.
