And just like that, another month has passed, and we’re now into the second part of the year. How quickly did that go. And a new month also means that a new Bellabox has dropped, this month with the theme Global Glamour, loaded with things perfect for a trip away. The box even has a special cute design this month with a little plane. Now I can only dream of actually going somewhere… Anyway, this is what was in the box this month..
Swisse Argan Facial Moisturiser - Full Size - RRP: $9.95 / 125ml
I’ve only tried a few little samples of the Swisse skincare products, so excited to see a full sized product included, and a huge one at that, although it is actually too big in size to be allowed in your carry-on luggage on international flights. It contains certified organic organ oil to help o hydrate and nourish the skin. It sounds lovely, and I love the fact that it is free from harmful chemicals, my only concern is just if it may be too heavy for my combination breakout prone skin.
Neruim Eye-V Moisture Boost Hydrogel Patches - One set - RRP: $75 / 5 sets
There has been so much hype around Nerium in the past year or so since the brand hit the Aussie shores, so I am quite excited to put one of their products to the test. These eye patches promises to help reduce puffiness and brighten the look of the eyes, while adding a lift and target hydration. Sounds pretty good, so I am very excited to be putting these to the test.
La Roche Posay Hyalu B5 Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Moisturiser - samples, 2 x 3ml - RRP: Serum; $69.95, Moisturiser; $59.95
I absolutely love the La Roche Posay products, in particular the Effaclar range, but I haven’t tried anything from this B5 range, so also excited trying anti-ageing products, although I would have loved slightly bigger samples, even if it meant only getting one of them. They promise to hydrate and re-plumb the skin and help with repair while stimulating collagen. Sounds perfect for may ageing skin.
Bioderma Sensibio Eye Gel - Sample, 2ml - RRP: $32.99 / 15ml
One of my favourite micellar is the Bioderma Sensibio (which others got in their box in stead of the eye gel), but I am quite happy receiving this eye gel as I am I yet to try this one. The eye gel is gentle giving the skin just the amount of hydration it needs without irritating sensitive eyes. Sounds great, and the tiny tube is great for travelling, although again, I would have liked a bigger sample.
Manna Kadar Blossom Floral Blush Compact - Full Size - RRP: $29 / 9.5g
I have previously tried a few products from Manna Kadar, mainly from being included in Bellabox, and I’ve quite enjoyed them, so I am loving the inclusion of this pretty blush, which is also by far the prettiest product I’ve seen from the brand. The blush has a super cute design with two flowers in two different colours, a beige, and medium pink on top of the bronze base. It can be used as a blush by blending the colours together, but it can also be used individually (may be a tad difficult to get just one shade onto a brush!), but it can also be used as an eye shadow or highlighter, which again makes this a great product for travelling.
Emily Crisps Crunchy Red Apple - Full Size - RRP: $4 / 30g
The inclusion of these dried apple crisps is a little different, and while it is not a beauty product, I couldn’t wait to get my photos taken so I could actually dig into these. Sounds just like the perfect healthy snack to me, and something my little boys would enjoy too.
Finally there was also a bonus product with a sachet sample of Avene Cicafate Repair, 2ml, which is an all-round repair cream that can be used by the whole family from babies with nappy or dribble rash to adults with burns, chafing or damaged skin. Sounds good to me, and I am particularly curious about using it for nappy rash on my little boy.
So there you go, the contents of the July Bellabox. Overall I am quite excited about the contents in this months box again, with the Manna Kadar blush and the Nerium Eye Patches what I am most eager to trial. It is also great that there was a full sized Swisse moisturiser included, and I guess, worst case scenario and its too intense for my skin, it can always be used on my décolleté or as a hand cream, or it can be passed onto my hubby. I am also loving the inclusion of the La Roche Posay and looking forward to trying more products from the brand.
