I'm sure that you have all heard about Missguided, the young and hip trendy UK fashion retailer that has websites around the world. In 2017 they launched a new fragrance, Missguided Babe Power, which was such a big hit at the time that it was outselling other top fragrances overseas (you can read more about it here) And now the Missguided has launched a new Body Mist collection that consists of four different bottle scents;
- Missguided instant feels body mist - in the top notes it has pear, raspberry, strawberry, bergamot, mandarin, cassis. In the middle notes it has peony, jasmine sambac, while in the base notes you will find amber, patchouli, musk, sweet vanilla.
- This is a light fruity yet floral fragrance thanks to the notes of peony, patchouli and jasmine, yet with the added fruity sweetness of the pear, raspberry and strawberry. This scent is quite lovely, and while it is still sweet, it is not as overpowering.
- Missguided boy tears body mist - in the top notes it has bergamot, lemon, lime, mandarin, raspberry. In the middle notes it has osmanthus, ylang, peony and in the base notes there are cedar, patchouli, amber.
- This scent is a fruity fresh aqua scent that has a sweet fruity touch thanks to the added raspberry yet fresh withe lemon and lime. This one has to be my favourite of the four scents as I simply like fresh citrusy and aquatic scents. It also reminds me a little of the CK ONE scent, which is a long time favourite. Plus you got to admit that the name is adorable.
- Missguided vibe enhancer body mist - in the top notes it has apple, bergamot, grapefruit, lemon, mandarin. In the middle notes there are there are jasmin, lily of the valley, raspberry, strawberry, tropical fruits while in the base notes there are caramel, kashmir fusion, musk, vanilla.
- This is a warm and slightly sweet spicy fruity scent, with the sweet apple and strawberry and added caramel and vanilla. I find this one the sweetest one in this collection, and a tad too sweet for my personal liking.
- Missguided unicorn dreams - in the top notes it has apple, coconut, pineapple, red fruits. In the middle notes there are jasmin, lily of the valley, rose, while the base notes consist of cedarwood, dry amber, musk, sandalwood, vanilla.
- This is a slightly fruity floral scent with the apple and red fruits mixed with the jasmin, lily of the valley and rose, but where the added coconut and pineapple gives it a tropical touch. Not being fond of coconut scented products, this one would be my least favourite of the four.
These body mists from Missguided are exceptional value, containing a massive 290ml. Yes, they don’t last throughout the day, but at that price, you also wouldn’t really expect to, and even if touch up regularly during the day, a bottle will still last you forever.
My only gripe is however their size. For me, a body mist is something you’d pop into your bag for when you’re on the go, or perhaps into your gym bag for touch up afterwards. But the huge bottle does mean that its a bit heavy and annoying carting around, so for me it would be a much more attractive product if they were only a third of their size, or alternatively, if they came with a little travel bottle you could decant some into.
The bottles are super simple yet sleek, and very girlie too, with their pink, white and grey bottles, which also makes it easy to tell the different scents apart. And you just have to love the cute names such as unicorn dreams and boy tears.
If you’re looking for a light, fresh and fruity scent for daytime wear, then these body mists from Missguided are definitely worth looking into. Personally I do prefer stronger perfumes that can ‘see me through the day’, but for those days where you might be looking for a lighter alternative, these are a great option. They are great spring and summer scents, and also great for younger girls looking for scents that are not too heavy.
