This promotion will be running until the end of the month or until sold out. And it is such a great way of getting to try some new products and brands. I put a few of these products to the test;

The Coco Betty's Coconut Oil are natural wipes free from any harmful additives. Rather they contain certified organic virgin coconut oil to help gently wipe away makeup, dirt and grime. Thanks to the fatty acids in the coconut oil, they are both gentle moisturising on the skin. The coconut oil also has a antibacterial action that helps clear skin prone to breakouts, so perfect for my skin. I will admit that, unless I am on a long-haul flight, I do not often use wipes, preferring to splash water in my face as I cleanse it - but occasionally I do use a wipe - and that consequently means that it can take me forever to use up a pack, with the result that they often dry out before I get to the end of the pack. So I absolutely love that these are individually packed, which also makes them perfect for travelling or simply for popping a few into your handbag in case you want to cleanse your skin on the go.
I also love that there are free from alcohol, palm and mineral oils, as well as they are free from artificial colours and are fragrance free, so they are perfect for those with sensitive skin too.

I also tried the Rohr Remedy Lily Pilly and Omega 3 Moisturiser. This moisturiser is a daily moisturiser for normal skin, containing Lilly Pilly extract rich in Omega 3 oils, to help heal the skin, as well as it has astringent properties to give the skin a gentle exfoliation to leave it soft and smooth. It also has a high concentration of antioxidants along with rice bran and macadamia oil to restore the skin’s balance and protect it from signs of ageing. During summer this may be a bit rich for my combination skin, but now that it is winter and my skin in general a little thirstier, it is enjoying the extra moisture and nourishment. I also love that it is free from all the chemical nasties including parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, sulphates, silicones or artificial colours or fragrances.

Next, I tried the keeko Oils Mint Charcoal Oil Pulling Mouthwash. Used to the ‘supermarket brands’ I am completely new to this type of mouthwash, so it did take a bit of reading up for me to work out what to do with this, and mainly as the actual product isn’t initially runny in the pouch, but you have to warm it up (inside the pouch) in your hands or under running warm water before use. And hereafter swishing 1-2 teaspoons of oil around your mouth for 5-15 minutes a few times per week.

It has been inspired by traditional Ayurvedic medicine, where oil puling was used to remove bacteria from the mouth, and thus this one has been made with a blend of essential mint oil, activated charcoal and coconut oil to help remove the oil soluble bacteria in the mouth and whiten the teeth at the same time.

The mouthwash contains among others coconut oil which is ant-bacterial & anti-viral, and helps reduce oral bacteria and plaque, activated charcoal to help detoxify the mouth by absorbing toxins and heavy metals. In addition it also contains Spearmint Oil and Peppermint oil to help kills bad breath germs along with the bacteria that can cause gum disease. This is a little more time consuming than the standard mouthwashes, but I do love how it is made with nothing but natural ingredients.

Finally, I also tried the Zuii Organic Flora Self Tanning Foam, which is made using 99.9% natural ingredients, of which 94% are organic. And seriously, what’s not to love about that. The self-tanner contains among others Bamboo Juice, Raw Cacao and Grape Skin Extract, to help give your skin an instant natural tan, all while keeping your skin hydrate and nourished. I am generally not fond of the scent that develops along with a tan, so needless to say that I love that this one has no scent. I also love that it is available in four different shades, so you can get the most natural tan for for your skin tone.

These really are great products, and perfect if you’re keen to explore some healthier and more natural beauty products too - but do go have a browse at all the other brands on offer at
