Both of our little boys have very fair and sensitive skin, so I am always very cautious of which skincare products I use on their skin. The younger one does have a little more eczema prone skin, so we’re sticking to using products we know works on his skin, but thankfully 5 year old big brother’s skin doesn’t have those issues, so we’ve been loving the Milk & Co Baby range for him lately..
The Milk & Co Baby Bath Wash* is an all-natural product containing among others organic Coconut Oil, Milk Proteins, Vanilla along with Chamomile and Calendula flower extract to keep your baby happy and clean. We also love that it is free from artificial fragrances and is paraben and soap soap free. It is great for using in their bath, but also equally perfect to use as a shower gel. It gently cleanses my boy’s skin without irritating or drying it out. Being soap free does mean that it doesn’t create that many bubbles in the bath (due to not containing soap), but personally I honestly don’t mind and much prefer it being soap free and more gentle on the skin, plus, it is not called bubble bath, but rather a wash, so it should come as no surprise.
The Wash comes in gorgeous white square bottle with a convenient pump bottle, which I like as then as it is so much easier. In spite of being fragrance free, this Wash smells divine thanks to the added vanilla and floral extracts.
The Milk & Co Baby Moisturiser* is an all-natural daily moisturiser. It also contains organic Coconut Oil and milk protein, to help hydrate the sensitive skin. It has a light consistency and easily and quickly absorbs into the skin without any greasiness, leaving the skin feel so soft and smooth. It comes in a square bottle, and my only negative is that I would have preferred it in a tube, for the sole reason as the plastic bottle is heavy duty, so it is difficult to squeeze too much, and thereby I can imagine it could be difficult to completely empty it.
Next up is the Milk & Co Baby Recovery Cream* is another all naturally derived products, intended to help soothe irritated skin including itches, redness, and nappy rash. It is made using among others aloe vera and Kakadu Plum, along with sweet almond oil, shea butter, avocado oil, sun flower oil, and jojoba seed oil. And while my little boy thankfully rarely suffer with nappy, applying this gorgeous gentle scented cream at every nappy change, it leaves an invisible protective barrier on his skin, keeps his little bum soft and free from irritations and redness. We have also used it on both boys after little nicks and grazes and mozzie bites, and it seems to help take the itch and sting away, and stops them from scratching themselves, and all with the use of any chemical nasties, which I really love.
Finally, there’s the Milk & Co Baby Toothpaste*, which is ACO certified organic, and another all natural product, free from fluoride and sugar, which I really like. It has a subtle fruity peach flavour which my boys absolute love, and its a lovely alternative to the usual minty flavoured toothpaste. And while both my boys are now able to spit out the toothpaste after getting their teeth brushed, I love that it is safe for them to swallow it, should it happen. I wish we’d come across this toothpaste when my boys were younger, and they were unable to spit out.
The Milk & Co Baby products come sleek white and pastel green bottles, with the most adorable cute little cow on them. They are of a high quality and very well priced, and I really love that they are all natural and so gentle on my boy’s skin. Hopefully in the not too distant future our little boy will stop using nappies, so we wont be needing the Recovery Cream on a daily basis, so our favourites would be the Bath Wash and the Moisturiser, which we will no doubt repurchasing again, as well as we will be looking into getting the Baby Shampoo too.
