Today I am excited to be giving you an exclusive preview for a new skincare range called LIONIA Caviar Luxury Skincare.*
The range is so brand spanking new, and are yet to even hit the shelves, so talk about super exclusive preview. The products are also so new that I’ve only been using them for a short period of time, so unable to, at this point, talk about the long-term results on my skin.
The LIONIA Caviar Luxury Skincare products are Australian made by Royal La Perle, which has offices in Paris, Hong Kong and Sydney.
Royal la Perle is an innovative, dynamic Australian cosmetic company that is committed to providing skin care and cosmeceutical products made from the highest quality ingredients and technologically advanced processes, for products that help gently repair and restore a youthful appearance. The products are made in Australia and will soon be available all around the worldwide.
The products in the range has uses the key ingredient of caviar to deliver deep nourishment from among others the omega-3 fatty acids to help fight the visible signs of ageing, as well as they also contain marine extracts, rich in nutrients to add intense and lasting hydration to the skin.
I’ve put the following products to the test,
The LIONIA Caviar Wrinkle Defense Repair Essence* is a toner that is to be morning and evening, used after cleansing the skin, and prior to serum and moisturiser, to help sweep away impurities and pollutants while preparing the skin to better absorb the skincare treatments to follow.
But once absorbed it leaves the skin feeling velvety soft and clearly very moisturised, but without any greasiness, which I always dread with my ageing, yet combination skin. It comes in a stunning hexagon-shaped tall blue pump bottle with golden lid, and it has a gorgeous gentle floral scent.
The next step is the LIONIA Caviar Rejuvenating Serum*, which is to be used after the Repair Essence morning and evening. In addition to the caviar extract, marine extracts and squalene to fight the signs of ageing including diminishing wrinkles and lines and add all-day hydration, it also contains Sodium Hyaluronate to smooth and brighten the face, grapefruit extract, Vitamin C & E to protect against environmental aggressors and leave the skin more even and glowing. It also promises to minimise the look of imperfections and leave the skin looking refreshed and radiant.
The Rejuvenating Serum has light gel-serum consistency like the essence, though it seems slightly lighter, and in spite of applying the essence first, which has already drenched my skin with moisture, I actually find that it absorbs into the skin even quicker (than the Essence), and leaves the skin feeling even softer and smoother, and without any oily residue. It has the same gorgeous gentle floral scent.
It comes in a tall round blue metallic bottle with a unique dropper, with the serum dispensed by clicking the golden button at the bottom of the bottle. The pump mechanism is lockable, which I really like so you can lock it after each use so you don’t risk wasting the precious serum. The bottle only contains 15ml, so it is a little small for a serum, though the appears bigger. That said, The Serum is very concentrated so I don’t even need a full pump to get sufficient serum to cover my full face, so it will last you a while.
Moving to the next step in the routine with the LIONIA Caviar Revitalizing Face Cream*, which again contains the caviar and marine extracts, along with collagen peptides, squalane, sodium hyaluronate, and aloe vera leaf oil, to help reduce the sighs of ageing, reduce lines and wrinkles, while restoring the skin’s suppleness, tone and elasticity, and also leave the skin not only softer and smoother, and more even and glowing.
The cream doesn’t contain any SPF, which some may find a negative, but personally I like it as then I can add it when needed, and it also means the the cream can be used morning and evening, after the essence and serum. It has a lovely rich consistency, yet not so rich that it feels too heavy on my combination skin. Often anti-ageing creams are way too rich for my skin, often quickly making my skin congested, so I was very pleased when I discovered that it wasn’t.
As the cream is rich, it does need to be massaged in a bit, but does still absorbs fairly quickly without any greasiness, and you can immediately feel and see that it is adding even more intense moisture to the skin, and it leaves the skin feeling so soft and supple, and thus also more plump and youthful. As it is so rich, you’ll only need a small amount.
It comes in a stunning hexagon-shaped blue jar bottle with golden lid, and I love that it comes with a little golden spatula, so you don’t have to dip your fingers into the jar and essentially contaminate the moisturiser. It has the same gorgeous gentle floral scent, though possibly slightly more subtle than the essence and serum.
Next up is the LIONIA Caviar Revitalizing Eye Cream*, again containing the caviar and marine plant extracts, along with collagen peptides, hyaluronic acid, Laminaria Ochroleuca Extract (brown algae), and Ubiquinone (Q10). These ingredients help add deep nourishment, and visibly reduce the appearance of dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles for a healthier, smoother and brighter and more luminous thereby also more younger looking appearance.
The Eye Cream has a super light consistency, which I really like, like, yet it is still very moisturising and again it is very concentrated, so you’ll only need the smallest amount. And while it still has the gorgeous gentle floral scent, it is still very gentle, so it doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.
It has a non-greasy and immediately makes my eye area feel and look softer and smoother. It comes in a beautiful little blue jar with a golden lid, and again, I really love that it comes with a little spatula. The jar contains 15g, like most eye creams, but the jar does makes it look so much bigger.
Finally, there’s the LIONIA Caviar Age-Defying Mask*, which is a sheet mask that each has been infused with 25ml of ultra-nourishing Firming Marine Elastic Concentrate. In addition, the masks also contain caviar extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Bladder wrack Marine Extract, collagen peptides, Ubiquinone, and Vitamin E, to add an even more intense dose of nourishment and hydration to the the skin. It also helps plump fine lines and wrinkles and restore and energise for a healthy-looking glowing and radiant skin.
The sheet mask is to be used on clean skin and left on for approx 15 minutes, and has a lovely soothing sensation on the skin. Once removed, it suggested that you gently tap the remaining serum into the skin until absorbed, for maximum benefit. And it immediately leaves the feeling incredibly soft, smooth and revitalised and plumped from the intense and concentrated moisture and nourishment, and my fine lines and wrinkles really do appear reduced in appearance. My skin also has the most gorgeous radiant glow. This mask would be great as a weekly treat, or a special night out, when you want to look your best.
As I’ve used the products in combination, I obviously cannot tell benefits of individual products apart, but only say that I’ve enjoyed using all the products as a full skincare regimen. But overall, even thought I’ve only used these LIONIA products for a short period of time, I’m really enjoying them and impressed with everything about them.
The products look so luxurious in their stunning royal blue and gold packaging, they smell divine, and have lovely consistencies. And more importantly, they all feel so lovely on my ageing skin, but without feeling heavy. Not having used them for a long enough period of time to be able to talk about the long-term results, I can obviously only talk about the immediate results, and I definitely say that they are worth noting. My skin is left feeling silky soft and smooth, clearly enjoying the intense moisture and nourishment as it is looking slightly more plump with lines and wrinkles diminished and my skin looking glowing and healthy. I can only imagine the great results I’d see from continued use.
The products do not come cheap, but if you compare to other luxe anti-ageing products on the market containing caviar, they really aren’t that expensive after all. If you’re serious about anti-ageing and fighting the signs of ageing, this LIONIA Caviar skincare range is definitely worth checking out. Royal La Perle also has a ROSA range available which sounds and looks equally stunning with its rose gold packaging, and I'd be pretty keen on exploring that range too.

In addition to the Caviar and Bladder Wrack Marine Extract to firm, smooth and brighten the face, while also reducing fine lines, repairing, regenerating and giving the skin a immune boost. However, it has also been boosted with among others sodium hyaluronate, a humectant that attracts and holds on to water, thus adding intense moisture and hydration to the skin, and keeps it moist throughout the day, while also helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful appearance. The Repair Essence also contains Collagen Peptides to help strengthen the skin, increase elasticity and hydration and help slow the signs of ageing, along with Vitamin E and C to protect and brighten the skin, and Aloe Vera Leaf Oil to help reduce skin inflammation and stimulate the development of new cells.
The Essence is best used by gentle tapping it into the skin letting it absorb completely before moving on to the next skincare step. When I hear the name essence, I think of a runny liquid solution, but this essence actually has the consistency of a light gel-like moisturiser or serum, which I actually like, as it means less chance of wastage. But it does mean that it take a few moments longer to absorb into the skin than your usual essence.
