PRODUCT REVIEW: LUXURIOUS SUNDAY PAMPERING WITH MINENSSEY, AEOS, ENBACCI, REDKEN AND STRAY BEAN

Sunday has long been the time of week where I get into some much needed pampering, so I thought that I’d share some of the products I’ve been enjoying lately…

For my face, I’m so loving these individually packaged face masks from Minenssey Brightening Mask* designed for dull, uneven or tired complexions and as a restorative for radiant light-reflecting skin.

These little Clay Masks, are all made from all unique natural Australian ingredients, including Australian white and black clay, rich in minerals including potassium, calcium, magnesium and copper to gel energise and revive the skin and help with cell renewal and fighting the signs of ageing including evening out skin tone. It also helps tired and stress skin, and not to mention helps absorb excess oil, dirt and impurities, while exfoliating the skin, balancing and smoothing the skin, and giving it a nice revived and rejuvenated glow. But the Minenssey Brightening Mask, also contains a combination of Moonstone extract, a sparkling mineral element to help give a radiant and luminous complexion, while moisturising and calming down and soothing the skin, and clearing it of toxins. The added Flavonoid Glycoside (Kaempferol), helps reduce pigmentation and inflammation in the skin, reduce redness, blotchiness and dark spots, while Kaempferol Aglycone acts as a skin restorative and prevents oxidative damage of cells, lipids and DNA. Finally, the added Snow Flower has depigmentation & anti-inflammatory properties, also helping to plump up the skin and give it a more luminous glow.

I love the fact that these masks come in little capsules, much like coffee pods, to ensure their freshness, and the little included brush, makes application even more special and luxurious. The little pods also makes them perfect to take away on holidays.

To use, you simply apply a thick layer onto clean skin using the supplied brush, and leave it on for 20-30 minutes before rinsing off. And afterwards my skin is feeling seriously soft and looking so incredible - refined, with pores looking less visible, and my skin clearly looking so much fresher and yes, so glowing and healthy. And all while being gentle and not making my skin feel dry or tight, like many other clay masks. I am so in love with these masks, seriously worth a try. And there’s a few other types in the range too, which including a both a Rejuvenating one and also a Deep Cleansing one, both of which I am very keen on getting my hands on too.

For my hair, I’ve always loved Redken, as it simply makes my hair feel and look incredible. The Redken Colour Extend Magnetics Mega Mask is a hair treatment mask specifically designed for colour treated hair. It has a dual chamber formula that combines a deep, intense conditioning treatment with a care extender to promote colour endurance, vibrancy and shine. It is formulated with a RCT Protein Complex that treats the hair from the root to the core to the tip, giving all 3 levels the custom nourishment they need lasting up to three washes. The mask is best used in towel dried hair, leaving it in for just 3-5 minutes to work its magic, before rinsing it out. And afterwards, the hair is left so silky soft and smooth, and with a healthy glossy shine, and it seriously is giving my coloured hair a new lease of life. It also has the most divine floral fragrance that lingers in the hair for long after its dried.

For the body, I’ve been loving the Stray Bean Skin Care Coconut and Lime Body Scrub*. This body scrub is made using a ground roasted coffee blend along with Himalayan rock salt, brown sugar cane, desiccated coconut, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba seed oil along with lime essential oils. The scrub helps increase blood flow, tighten and soften the skin, while reducing the appearance of cellulite, and leaving the skin feeling soft and smooth. Like most coffee scrubs, it is a little messy in the shower, but its worth it for the glowing soft and hydrated skin you are left with. Plus it has the most gorgeous fresh tropical scent with the mix of coffee, coconut and lime.

To moisturise the body, I’m currently loving the Enbacci Complete Body Firming Lotion*. This body lotion is made using they key ingredient of stem cells of the Saponaria pumila (dwarf soapwart) plant, to help hydrate and nourish the skin while promoting elasticity and firming of the skin. It also contains sunflower seed oil, sweet almond oil, shea butter, macadamia nut oil, along with vitamin E. And while it is so intensely nourishing and moisturising, it is still very light and absorbs instantly into the skin without making the skin feel greasy or sticky. And it leaves the skin feel and look absolutely incredible. So soft and smooth, and with the most divine delicate scent lingering on the skin, so gorgeous that I’ve found myself using it as a hand cream a few times throughout the day, only to get an excuse to smell it a little more, plus as it is non-greasy, it really is great as a hand cream too. It comes in a large simplistic yet stunning pump bottle which I really like, as it makes it easy to use. It is a little on the pricey end, however, it is seriously divine, and I love the fact that it makes my skin feel so soft and supple and how luxurious it is to use.

And as for my hands, they are seriously feeling this cold weather we’ve had in Melbourne lately, feeling so dry. But thanks to the AEOS Enriching Spelt Hand Cream* they’re quickly getting back to their normal self again. It is such a luxurious and incredible hand cream and it comes in a cute little black heavy duty glass jar, promising help dramatically improve the condition of dry and environmentally damaged hands, and it really does. The cream has been enriched with organic oils, hydrosols along with biodynamic spelt oil and will help intensely nourish dry hands, soothing them and leaving them feeling and looking softer and more moisturised than ever before, thanks to the spelt containing vitamin E and essential fatty acids that have regenerative properties, so it is also a great cream for very dry and ageing skin. The hand cream also contains liquid tinctures of crystals from carnelian, quartz, and chalcedony, to help to rejuvenate damaged or problem skin, yet it is really light and absorbs so easily into the hands. I do tend to use it at night though, as then it can do its wonders why I sleep. And it seriously works like magic, just the tiniest amount massaged into my dry (and ageing skin on my hands!), and I wake with the most beautiful looking soft hands, which are somewhat more plump too. It has a gorgeous natural herbal scent that you can only adore. Expensive yes - but you probably wouldn’t hesitate to spend this kind of money on an anti ageing cream for the face, but make sure that you treat your hands too, as like your face, they are always exposed to the elements, and do deserve it too.
