PRODUCT REVIEW: RIMMEL LONDON SCANDALEYES RELOADED MASCARA, AND PRECISION MICRO AND THICK AND THIN EYELINERS

Even when I am not wearing makeup, I always 'do' my eyes, meaning that I'll wear eyeliner and mascara. Always have, and probably always will. I simply feel pale and looking sick when I don't, so why not! And lately Rimmel London has really been killing it with new products launches which have all really hit new heights for drugstore makeup, so I was naturally very excited when the new Rimmel London Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara and the Scandaleyes Eyeliners in Precision Micro as well as Thick & Thin landed on my desk.

Let's start with the Rimmel Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara which claims to be a breakthrough, that can create a new dimension of intense volume without clumping, and is sweat-proof, smudge-proof and humidity proof thanks to a wax grafted polymer. It also claims that you can layer it up to 11 times without it looking clumpy!

The mascara applies super black and glossy, and is easy to apply thanks to its oversized soft bristle brush, which I really like - and just one coat does a pretty good job at giving my lashes both length and volume, and adding a few more it does give create long lashes with lots of volume with a slight curl too, although I wouldn't go as far as trying to lather on 11 coats! For me, 3-4 is sufficient.

As promised, it does stay put all day, and survives getting caught in the rain, and also my sensitive eyes watering, yet can be removed with warm water, although I do prefer the aid of a micellar water to make it a little easier.

It comes in a stand-out bright orange, slightly bulky plastic tube, but containing 12mls of mascara, it is also larger than most mascara, which are usually around the 8ml!t

Next there's the Rimmel London Scandaleyes liquid eyeliners, which are available in two varieties, a Precision Micro and a Thick & Thin.

The Precision Micro, has, as the name suggest, a super fine tip that allows you do draw a super precise line - perfect if you want an ultra fine line. Or alternatively, you can use the Thick & Thin which has a unique 3-D sculpting applicator, or as I call it, a highlighting pen tip, that allows you to draw both thin and thicker lines.

Common for both is that they are super pigmented, so just one stroke and you get a solid intensely saturated line, regardless of you want a super fine line, or a bolder one. And if you give the line a few moments to dry, and they really do not budge all day - no fading or moving, and surviving getting caught in the rain and my sensitive eyes which often water, yet removes easily with warm water as promised, although I personally do prefer to remove with a micellar water or eye makeup remover.

Overall I really love these eyeliners, and between the two varieties, you can draw any thickness of line you want, and at that low price, you can afford one of each.
