This Collection tin contains absolutely everything you need to contour and highlight your look, including:
- 2 x highlighters
- 2 x bronzers
- 1 x illuminator
- 1 x brush
The two highlighters come in a very pale peachy shade as well as a very pale yellow toned shade, and for me the, the peachy tone is the best fit. As for the bronzers, there is a medium shade brown as well as a very dark chocolate brown, the ladder unfortunately way to dark for my skin, but luckily, the paler of the shades again works really well. Finally, the highlighter is also a pale peachy shade, but shimmery. It gives a nice sheen on the shin, but it also some slightly larger shimmer, which I would have preferred if it didn’t, but even so I find it very wearable when applied very sparingly.
General for the powders is that they are easy apply with the included small brush, but personally I prefer to apply them with my larger makeup brushes, as that way I find they blend even easier.
The powders come in a large black slim-line metallic tin, and it has a large mirror inside the lid. Personally I'd never contour on the go, so I don't really care about the mirror, but at least it (and the little brush) is there in case you should want to. Each of the powders are also relatively large, so it is good value for money too.
Naturally, the quality and the not the same as when you pay 4-5 times the amount for a contouring kit, but that said, the powders are still finely milled and quite pigmented too, and with the selection of shades, there is something for a variety of skin tones too - so if you're new to contouring (like me!!), or are simply on a budget, this DB Contours Perfection Collection Tin is definitely worth a try.
