SCHOOL HOLIDAY FUN - COPS VS ROBBERS AT LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTRE MELBOURNE

Melbourne Big Ticket where you get entry to two attractions, Sea Life Melbourne and Legoland Discovery Centre at a great discounted price… But let’s first have a look at the attractions..

We visited Sea Life in Melbourne the other day, which during these school holidays calling all smallfoots to join our big chill these school holidays by experiencing life as a Yeti to celebrate the release of one of the year’s biggest family movies Smallfoot. You can read more about that here. And at Legoland Discovery Centre Melbourne, they have a special Cops vs Robbers event on, which is not to be missed. 

As the kids enter Legoland, they are given the choice of a Robber Mask or a Cop Cap, so that they can look the part, when going to either steal the jewels and jolt for their getaway or catch the robber before they dissapear with the valuables. The kids also got a free activity book with lots of fun things to do. 

In the Lego Miniland, the kids can try to spot all the stolen jewels, the robbers, the cops chasing them. 

And in the Build & Test zone, the kids can try to build the ultimate robbers getaway car, and see if it fast enough to escape the cops. 

Or they can visit the Creative Workshop to build their cop car or getaway plane, or put their imagination and building skills to the test at the new LEGO City build table, which features cool things like the fire station, police station, jail, hospital, hotel and airport. 

And once all exhausted and needing a break, everyone can recharge at the  Lego café, where they are serving cops and robber cookies and cupcakes topped with LEGO 'jewels' (note food is to be purchased and is not included in entry ticket price) 

The kids can also go on rides in Merlin’s Apprentice ride, where you have to keep pedalling to keep your plane high in the air, if you stop, you will drop…! 

Of course, while they are at Legoland, they can enjoy all the other activities there, including the various play and build zones, including the Kingdom Quest laser ride, the LEGO City Soft Play Zone, as well as go watch a movie in the 4D cinema.

There is also a special new 4D Movie on at the cinema, Officer in Pursuit which was to commence on the 15th January. As our boys are particularly into the Lego police (they got the huge police stations etc for Xmas), we purposely waited to visit until the new movie was on. But unfortunately when we were there on the 16th January ,we were told that the movie had been delayed. What a bummer. Thankfully we still had lots of fun and giggles watching the Ninjago 4D movie.
