The Revelation Eye Shadow is a cream eye shadow that promises to long wear, without creasing or fading for up to 14 hours! Wow, that's some claim, wonder if that will hold true on my greasy eye lids!!
There are 10 different eye shadow shades in the range, and I put shade no. 7, Vander Pink to the test.
The eye shadows have been enriched with sesame, neem and indian senna seed oil, and gelled volatile oil to make them soft and light.
The eye shadows come in in a little tube with a foot doe applicator, that makes it super easy to apply. You simply swipe and then blend with your finger. Super easy, and as they are very creamy and pigmented, so a single swipe is sufficient. They have a mousse-like very airy and light consistency, and dry really quickly, so you do have to work fast, so they don't set before you are finished. And yes, they really are budge-proof not fading or creasing even one tiny bit, even lasting getting caught out in the rain. Yet removes easily with waterproof eye makeup remover.
The shade Vander Pink is a warm dusty rose pink shade full of golden micro glitter, and it can be applied just lightly as a sheer wash or colour, or of course, as an intense rich shade. It is suitable to be used on its own, or you can of course use in combination with any other colour.
Overall, I really love this eye shadow and I am super impressed with both the quality of the product, the pigmentation and that it really doesn't budge until it comes time to remove it. A few additional shades definitely won't go astray in my cosmetic bag, as well as I'm also keen on putting their range of lipsticks and glosses to the test.
