The mascara comes with some pretty hefty claims of increasing lash length and volume by 80% and curl by a massive 162%!!
As many other makeup products from Elizabeth Arden this one comes with several skincare ingredients, including peptide-based Lash Building Complex, Olive Esters, Rice Bran Esters, and Carnauba Esters. The emollient mascara has been enriched with vitamins to condition and treat the lashes for an overall healthier and plumper appearance.
The mascara also claims to offer an all-day lift and curl that with its waterproof formula wont flake, smudge or dry out!
The mascara has a unique curved silicone brush that I immediately liked, simply because it from the very first use applied just the right amount of mascara without clumping - unlike other new mascaras which are so over-generous that it is not until you're half way though the contents of the mascara before it applies a suitable amount!
The fine silicone brush quickly and easily coats every single lash, and after zig-zagging it though the lashes while letting it 'cradle' the lashes, it creates more volumous lashes.
The second step is to rotate the brush to an upside down 'U', and coat the lashes a further few times to create a nice lift that instantly helps open up the eye.
Next the straight side of the last separates and lengthen the lashes, while finally small ball tip helps coat any tiny lashes that been missed, so that they too are defined and lifted.
The result is incredibly long and thick lashes, that are beautifully glossy, and with a nice curl too - almost as good as when using a lash curler first - which I admit to rarely doing as I simply haven't got the time, so this is the perfect time-saver! And it leaves the lashes without feeling stiff or uncomfortable. No clumping in sight.
I have very sensitive eyes that easily water, so I usually use waterproof mascaras, so this one is perfect for me, and it is in fact staying put all day without smudging or flaking, yet it removes quickly and easily with waterproof eye makeup remove, without the need to scrub at the sensitive eye area.
Overall, I am really impressed with this mascara. I am yet to see any permanent change to the look and health of my lashes, but that aside, I am loving how it is making my lashes look! And with new mascaras being launched and hitting all the time, this is a big statement, but I will definitely be repurchasing this one again!
