I admit that, while I am a total skincare junkie, one step I am notoriously bad at skipping, is toner. I am not really sure why, as I do love not just that a toner can remove any remaining cleansing residue, but also refreshen the skin, and prepare for the subsequent serums and moisturisers. So when the Enbacci Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Essence* landed on my desk, I couldn’t wait to try it..
I have previously put some of the products from Enbacci to the test including the Age Revitalising Eye Defence with Apple Stem Cells, which you can read more about here, the Complete Body Firming Lotion, which you can read about here, and 3-step masking system, which you can read more about here.
Anyway, back to the Vitis Vinifera Rejuvenating Essence, which is using purple grape stem cells as its key ingredient. These are high in the antioxidant anthocyanin which helps to eliminate free radicals and combat UV induced damage in the skin. The grape stem cells don’t repair the damaged skin cells, rather it helps replace the damaged cells. It also helps reverse the physical signs of ageing and combat uneven skin tone, eradicate acne causing bacteria, lighten scars and imperfections and absorbs UV tradition before it damages the skin cells. The Essence is intended for all skin types and also contains a range of other botanicals including;
- Witch hazel for its astringent properties to remove impurities and minimise the appearance of pores
- Green tea and aloe vera to soothe and nourish
The essence comes in a gorgeous turquoise-blue bottle and has a nifty spray, so you can use prior to skincare morning and evening, during the day to refresh makeup and add glow or on a warm summers day to glow, hydration and to col the skin.
I really the fact that this essence is great for all skin types, and even works so well with my ageing, yet combination blemish prone skin.
I also love that it instantly refreshes my skin and helps add hydration and nourishment to my skin, yet is so light it absorbs quickly and easily into my skin without any greasiness or stickiness.
Also like that it is alcohol free, so it is very gentle on the skin, yet it helps keep my skin a little clearer, and also helps balance and control oil throughout the day, so that my makeup looks nicer for longer - all while leaving my skin feeling softer and with such a gorgeous glow.
This one is definitely a keeper, and I wish it did come in a smaller travel-friendly sized bottle, as it would be perfect for both the handbag, as well as for my upcoming long haul flights.
