A girl can never have too many makeup brushes, right!? I know I certainly can’t. And one of those brands that you can always trust, with their premium quality yet affordable brushes, is Real Techiniques. I admit that I do have quiet a brush collection, but what I reach for on a daily basis, is my Real Techniques, so needless to say that I squealed a little when a selection of the newest Real Techniques styles landed on my desk..
To kick start 2019, Real Techniques is adding adding to their already huge and popular range, with the introduction of; Real Techniques Rebel Edge Trio SetReal Techniques Everyday Essential SetReal Techniques Sugar Crush Miracle Complexion Sponge.

The Real Techniques Rebel Edge Trio Set* contains a brushes with unique angled cropped head that helps you give you more control to define and blend. The brushes can cleverly be used in two ways, flat to blend and finish, or sideways to detail and contour. The set includes;
- Broad Brush, which is cut for the face to help blend powder foundation and bronzer
- Fine Brush, which is cut finely for the eyes, to help precisely line eyes or sweep on powder shadows
- Medium Brush, which is cut medium for the cheeks, to help dust on powder highlighter or blush
These brushes are so pretty with their bright pink handles and black and pink bristles. I haven’t got anything like these brushes in my brush collection so I am really excited about them, in particularly the Medium Brush to help define the cheek area a little better.

These brushes are so gorgeous with their pastel pink, purple and golden shades, and really you can get by, by just having this brush set. An absolute must have.
Finally, there’s the new Sugar Crush Miracle Complexion Sponges*, which just like the original Miracle Complexion Sponge, soft and flexible for applying liquid and cream products, either wet or dry - only they are available in the prettiest sugary pink shades, including pink, peach and berry, and all with pretty glitter. Almost too pretty to use.
Once again, Real Techniques has impressed me with their new product launches. You think that every style and need would be covered by now, but somehow Real Techniques manages to keep coming out with advanced products of premium quality, yet at affordable prices.
My faves from these new products… all of them!! Ok, if I need to select, already having a decent makeup brush collection, it would be the new Rebel Edge Trio Set, as the shape of these brushes are so different to my other brushes, and I really love that.
But if you’re new to makeup brushes, or simply need a top up (don’t we all!), then you cannot go past the Everyday Essential Set. And well, if you’re a regular user of makeup sponges, then yes, you can naturally wash them, but having a few extra ones for hygiene reasons, certainly won’t hurt!
