And inspired by summer’s kiss on soft, smooth skin, Natio has launched a new limited edition make-up collection, Sun-Kissed, that celebrates sun-warmed, radiant beauty. It contains soft nude tones and lustrous, skin flattering textures and that can help extend the summery glow into the cooler season ahead.
The Sun-Kissed collection contains everything you need to prep, set and glow, from sunrise to sunset, including seven essentials, and I’ve put a few of those to the test;
The Natio Bronze Glow Perfecting Primer is a silky smooth lightly tinted primer that can be used before foundation to create a smoother base for makeup, or it can be used on its own for a light glowing finish. It only gives a sheer wash of colour, a slight bronze tint, yet still helps evening out any imperfections, and leaving the skin looking healthier and more glowing and radiant.
The Natio Makeup Setting Spray is a light mist that helps both set and keep makeup looking fresher throughout the day by magnifying the skin and keeping the makeup from smudging. The mist is infused with aloe vera and rose oil to help soothe and hydrate the skin, and has the most gorgeous rose scent too.
Then there's the Natio Sun-kissed Glow Palette, which contains 6 shades, including three eyeshadows, a bronzer, a blusher and a highlighter.
The eye shadows include nude-to-smokey shades with a neutral shimmery beige to highlight, a medium beige along with a darker brown to add depth and define. The remaining powders for the face are a little bigger, which I really like. The actual highlighter has a pale shimmery pinky-peach shade, the blush a dusty peachy shade and the bronzer a pale-medium shade, that would be great for most pale to medium skin tones.
The shades are buildable, but not intense, which I actually don’t mind, as most days I have a very neutral subtle look, and these shades are all perfect for that barely there glowing look.
The palette comes in a pretty dusty pink recyclable, cardboard casing with a magnetic closure and an internal mirror for convenient application and easy touch ups on the go, and as it contains everything you need, it would be great for holidays too.
The Natio Radiant Under Eye Concealer is a liquid concealer that you dispense by pushing the button at the bottom of the pen, and the concealer will slowly out through the brush applicator at the other end. I really like this way of applying concealer, as it makes it super quick and easy to apply and blend seamlessly. It contains among others Vitamin E, Chamomile and Green Tea soothe and moisturise, and help revive and brighten the eye area, by diffusing light and concealing and blurring the signs of fatigue, including dark circles under the eyes, for a more dewy and rested even look. It has a slight sheen, without being over the top, and it helps make the eye area look more awake. I also like using it in the inner corners of my eyes, to brighten further. It is only available in one shade, which fits my medium beige skin tone perfectly, but if you have very pale or darker skin, it may not suit you.
Then there’s the Natio Every Eye Brush Set, which is a gorgeous brush set containing three essential eye makeup brushes for the perfect eye makeup. The set contains an application brush for applying eye shadow, a blending brush with tapered end to blend and a define brush with angled tiptoe apply eye liner or smudge eye shadow into the lash line. The brushes are made using super soft synthetic bristles and look incredible with their matte black handles and rose gold detailing.
Finally, the range also includes a Sheer Smoothie Jojoba & Shea Lip Balm, and Amplify & Separate Volumising Mascara. These products are as lovely to use as they’re pretty to look at. As always, the Natio are so easy to wear, and perfect for that natural look, making the products so perfect for daily wear. As well as being Australian and cruelty free, I also love that he products are loaded with skin loving ingredients such as jojoba, shea butter, vitamin E, chamomile, and green tea to nourish and protect the skin.
