PRODUCT REVIEW: 3INA THE CREAM EYESHADOWS, THE METALLIC EYE SHADOW AND THE VOLUME MASCARA

One of those brands I've been loving lately is 3INA. The European brand is fairly new to Australia. As a monochrome lover, I love the simplistic black packaging with the simple white writing. 3INA, which by the way is pronounced "Mina", is a on-trend range that is paraben free, cruelty free and vegan. The brand has a few stores around Australia already, as well as an online store.

I've put a few products to the test, including The Volume Mascara, The Metallic Eye Shadow and The Cream Eyeshadows.

Let's start with the 3INA The Volume Mascara, which is such a great every day mascara. Just a single coat gives the lashes a good even coverage, nicely separating the lashes, and gives them both volume and lift. A few more coats adds to both length and volume, for a nice effect, though nothing dramatic, but that's why I'm saying its a good mascara for everyday. The mascara contains a massive 15.5ml, which is seriously big for a mascara, almost double most others, which makes it exceptional value. While it isn't waterproof, it does last fairly well without smudging, even on my sensitive eyes that easily water, and it is easy to remove with a standard makeup remover or micellar water. I also love the large brush which make it easy to reach even the smallest of lashes in the inner corners, and that it is great from the very first use, without dispensing too much mascara onto the lashes or clumping.

Then there's 3INA The Metallic Eye Shadow. There are 10 different metallic shades in the range (as well as a massive 40 'standard' shades), and I put the shade 507 to the test, which is a dark purple-plum shade. The metallic shades promises to be long lasting, and offer high shine, luminosity and to brighten the whole eye area. The eye shadow is fairly pigmented, though I do feel that I get an even higher pigmentation by applying it with a damp eye shadow brush. I am quite conservative, and would usually not even consider wear wearing a purple eye shadow - however, surprisingly, it actually applies with a bit of a brownish tinge which is way more style, so I've actually surprised myself and enjoyed using it.

That said, I have been loving The Cream Eyeshadows even more. There are 18 colours and I've been putting three to the test, including 315, a black, 310 a metallic grey, and 314 metallic brown. Unfortunately the grey shade was completely dried up in the pot, but I think that is my own fault for not closing the pot properly when I initially received the products.

But I have to say that I am so in love with these, and I so need to get my hands on some more shades. They are seriously so super easy to use, and you can apply them with either your fingers or use a eye shadow brush. You only need to use the tiniest amount as they are so pigmented, and then you just blend as much or as little depending on how intense a look you want, though you do have to blend fast before they dry and set.

L-R - The Cream Eyeshadows in Brown (314) and Black (315),
and the Metallic Eyeshadow in Purple (507)

I admit that I am usually not a huge fan of cream eye shadows, but that's because I have I often find that they simply do not wear very well on my greasy eye lids. These The Cream Eye Shadows from 3INA is a complete different story, they are waterproof and seriously last all day without creasing or fading, and without any fallout. The Black shade is very intense, too intense for conservative me, but it can also double as an eyeliner, when used with a little brush. My favourite would have to be the Bronze shade, which I've been using on its own for a quick and simple look, but it also works perfectly with other shadows on top.

So there you go, my first 3INA products, and I am seriously impressed. These products are so well priced, I was actually a little chocked when I realised how budget friendly the products are, as the quality is so good. These products have definitely left me wanting to try more of their other products too, and I already know that I just have to have some more of those gorgeous The Cream Eyeshadows.
