PRODUCT REVIEW: PETER THOMAS ROTH 24K GOLD MASK PURE LUXURY LIFT AND FIRM MASK

Today I've got a very special one for you... One that had my breath taken away the moment I saw it... And as a beauty blogger I am fortunate to be able to try more beauty products than most, so when I say this, it is pretty rare! I am taking about the Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift and Firm Mask.. 


This Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift and Firm Mask comes in the most divine golden jar with a gold lid, and once you open it, you see the golden treatment. The mask contains among others;

• 24K Gold - known from the time of Cleopatra for its powerful anti-ageing benefits, 24K Gold helps firm, lift, brighten and calm the appearance of skin while providing an opulent glow. 
• Colloidal Gold - also known as "Activated Gold," helps lift and firm the look of skin. 
• Caffeine - helps tone and condition the appearance of skin, to make it appear firmer and tighter 
• Peridot - an ancient green gemstone rich in magnesium, to e-energise and help reduce the look of ageing and stress 
• Glycerin & Hyaluronic Acid - humectants that help soothe and hydrate skin. Hyaluronic Acid helps improve hydration by attracting and retaining up to 1,000 times its weight in water from moisture in the air, for a more lifted appearance. 

The thick golden jelly mask, is to be applied generously to clean skin, and left on for 5-10minutes before being rinsed off with warm water. It can be used 2-3 times a week, or as often as desired or needed.

I've been using this mask a few times a week for the past month or so, and I have to say that am in love. This mask simply gives the ultimate luxurious pampering experience, not just as it is so stunning to look at, but also because it feels so lovely on the skin as you wear it (and that's not hard when your face is golden!!). The golden flecks to make it a little tricky to wash off, but once off, my skin feels absolutely incredible. It is so soft and smooth and so super hydrated, that it looks and feels plumper. I am not sure my skin is firmer o more lifted, but one thing is certain, it is certainly re-energised and revitalised, as after each use I have a more glowing and radiant complexion that has clearly enjoyed a much needed energy boost thanks to the caffeine contents in the mask.

This mask doesn't come cheap, but it is seriously pure luxury and is the ultimate in home pampering, and it also is the perfect mask to use for extra glowing skin, just prior to a big event or night out. I know that I'll cry the day the jar is empty.
