I have always struggled with my skin breaking out, and even now at the age were anti-ageing products should be more realistic, my skin is still from time to time playing up like a teenagers!
Clairsonic was probably one of the first sonic facial brushes on the market, and since then, several others have joined, due to popularity, I'd say, and one of those is the Facial Cleansing Brush from Remington.
The brush has so many features, including;
- Dual-action rotating and vibrating motion
- LED Indicator lights
- Three cleansing speeds
- One minute timer that pulse every seconds
- Fully Waterproof
- Three interchangeable brush heads, normal, sensitive and massage
- Up to 30 uses from one charge
- Charging Stand
- Beauty Bag
- 2 Year Warranty
So how did it perform...
I naturally cannot help but compare to my old Clairsonic, which is 3 or 4 years old now, but still going strong - and I feel that this brush is every bit as efficient in giving my skin a deep cleanse deep down every single pore to remove excess sebum and impurities, and not to mention leftover makeup!
I don't have particularly sensitive skin, so have not been using the sensitive brush, but in spite of using the Normal brush, it is still very gentle. In that connection I also want to mention that I love that it pulses every 20 seconds to remind you to move onto the next zone of your face so that you do not over-cleanse.
I also love that it comes with the massage brush, which is designed to revitalise dull and tired skin, and that it is completely waterproof so that I can use it in the shower, to speed up my morning routine.
Unlike many other 'copies', I love that Remington has actually designed a new look brush that not a complete copy in the looks department, but rather a stylish (and dare I say more stylish!), brush, that sits nicely in a small female hand. The pastel mint shade of the brush is also very stunning, whilst still being girlie.
The massage brush head is also unique to Remington, and I do really like that one. While the normal and sensitive brush heads features soft bristles like any other brush head, the massage head is made with soft plastic bristles, and after use, you can really see how circulation has been boosted in the skin.
It is difficult to say if it has made any different to the state of my skin as I was already using a cleansing brush regularly. But I can definitely both see and feel that it helps give my skin a very thorough, yet gentle cleanse, leaving my skin soft and smooth.
But overall I am really enjoying using this Remington Facial Cleansing Brush - it has as many, if not more features than a standard Clairsonic, and it does an as good, if not better cleanse of the skin, also taking into account that it includes the massage head - and at less money too!
If I was to purchase a new facial cleansing brush, I would definitely consider the Remington, and highly recommend that you check it out too! And of course, it makes for a pretty good Mother's Day pressie too!!
