And now Clarins is
jumping on board too with the Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream SPF 25.
This new Clarins BB
Cream promises to revitalise, protect and even the skin tone in one easy step,
while delivering the perfect amount of colour. It blends instantly and
easily to minimise imperfections to ensure a flawless complexion with a natural
look.
The Clarins BB Skin
Perfecting Cream SPF 25 contains among others;
Organic kiwi extract
known for its anti-fatigue and antioxidant properties; rich in vitamin
C, it works to stimulate skin cells.
A combination of katafray extracts and hyaluronic acid to boost and
restore the skin’s natural hydration process, for additional softness and comfort.
The BB cream also contains Clarins exclusive Anti-Pollution
Complex, SPF25 and a PA+++ to protect against UVA rays and prevent slackened
skin tissue, loss of skin firmness and the appearance of wrinkles.
It also contains a combination of "3-D
radiance" and light-correcting pigments to optically brighten dark,
shadowy areas.
Finally, it also contains Clarins exclusive anti-pollution complex to help
prevent signs of premature ageing, as well as it offers 100% mineral screen to
protect against UVA and UVB rays.
The new Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Cream is available in 3 shades:
No.1 Light
No.2 Medium
No.3 Warm
RRP: $50 each –
available from May 20, 2013 from leading department stores, select
pharmacies and retails specialists, and Adore Beauty Online.
The BB cream is already available for purchase in the USA
and in Canada, while I believe it is also going to be launched in the UK in May
2013.
I have been lucky to be sent one of these new Clarins BB Skin Perfecting Creams for review – and
I’m already loving it. And let me tell you, it smells amazing too. But stay
tuned for a full review once I’ve used it for a little longer!

I have tried a few by now, but unfortunately some do make my skin break out. But I'm loving this one, one of the best ones I've tried!!
DeleteDear Karina, thanks for this good news because I daily use sun protection. When I´m not so much outside I use from Garnier "Miracle Skin Perfector" with SPF 15 and in summer and when I´m really in the sun (what I try to avoid always) - surprise - "Haute protection" from Avene with SPF 50. But this BB cream sounds like a good compromise - although I never tried BB creams before.
ReplyDeleteHope you´re well, dear, and you had a great weekend!

Sounds like you are taking good care of your skin Rena. SPF50 has only just been approved here in Australia a few months ago, so I'm not sure the Avene product you mention is even available here, but it does sound great. I'll definitely check it out!!
DeleteAnd thanks, I had a lovely weekend, hope you did too!
only 3 shades? tsk tsk
ReplyDeleteSadly a few shades seems to be the standard for most BB creams!! I'm just lucky that the medium shade matches my skin perfectly, but I can see that it can be a problem for many other skin tones!
