As you may recall, I am a huge Bobbi Brown (did you see that beautiful Evening Glow Palette that I was talking about not long ago?, if not, you can read more about it here)
Anyway, Bobbi Brown has now also released the limited edition Caviar & Rubies Collection, which is all about a festive celebratory look that is decadent, with lavishly burnished lids, va-va-voom lashes, incandescent skin, and—for those who dare—a life-of-the-party red lip. This beautifully edited collection includes luxurious eye, lip, cheek and skin essentials— makeup must-haves that were made to party.
I especially love the Caviar & Rubies Eye Shadow Palette, which has also been described as the centerpiece of the collection.
This eye palette features 9 shades inspired by rich jewel tones and burnished metallics—including Gilded, a new diamond dust Eye Shadow formula, which is perfectly placed in the centre of the palette. The palette has a beautiful selection of shades ranging from pale nude and pink shades, to mauve, chocolate brown, espresso and a dark navy blue too, and of course again, not forgetting the Gilded shade. The shades range between matte, metallic and shimmery finishes which can be mixed in endless combinations, so you can create anything from a subtle daytime look to an intense smoky, sultry night-time look, with a touch of Gilded taking your look to a whole new sparkling dimension.
Also needless to say that the shades are all so pigmented, and they are so silky soft and smooth and an absolute dream to apply and blend, and once on, they stay put all day without creasing.

For the lips there's the Bobbi Brown Luxe Lip Colour, which is super comfortable lipstick that helps boost moisture levels, while rejuvenating the lips, helping to visibly reduce the appearance of lip lines and relieve lip flaking, while keeping the lips conditioned - just like a lip balm, only this is a highly pigmented lipstick, that requires just a single swipe for a fully saturated look. This lipstick really is so beautiful to wear that you almost forget about it, and I love that it is a multi-tasker that cares about your lips while you wear it, even for long after its been taken off or worn off. But its not just beautiful on the inside, the outside is so beautiful to look at too, thanks to the heavy-duty sleep gold tube, seriously luxury at its best. There are a massive 30 different shades in the range, including a few limited edition ones. For a gorgeous pale nude shade, you cannot go past the stunning Bare Pink, while if you want a little more colour, Plum Rose has a lovely rich plum shade. But again, with so many shades in the range, there's something for everyone and every occasion.
