I always struggle with ideas to give to my hubby, and not to mention my brother and dad for Christmas, so I've put together a selection of products that I know they'd be happy receiving.

If he's after good entertainment, why not gift him a DVD or Bluray or two. My hubby loves a good action movie, and so thinks like the newly releases Atomic Blonde with Charlize Theron is a good suggestions. In this day and age with all the hero’s being male it is refreshing to see another female spy rise to the occasion. Similar in a way to SALT (Angeline Jolie), Atomic Blonde pits our female spy against the might of the Russians trying to get her hands on a valuable list of spies and contacts, that everyone else wants to sell to the highest bidder. The movie has moments where I felt I was starting to lose interest, but then the action will quickly pick up again and well who does not mind seeing a female kick some arse, especially when it is Charlize Theron doing it. An extra highlight for me was all the great 80’s hits used as the soundtrack, it was a real blast from the past. A good entertaining movie that I would watch again.

Another alternative is The Mummy featuring Tom Cruise. This was an interesting movie, I was expecting it to be a little creepier and full on seeing it was a Tom Cruise movie, but the script was good and I did laugh with the one-liners throughout the movie, and there was some interesting twists, but you will see this when you watch it yourself. If you enjoyed the Mummy movies with Brendon Fraser then this will appeal. The cast was great and I did enjoy the story and they have really left this one open to possible sequels.

Finally, there's Spider-Man Homecoming, as who doesn't love a super hero. This movie puts a little more comical at the start with Peter playing around with his amazing abilities and rubbing shoulders with Tony Stark. There is the usual boy is crazy for the pretty girl love twist and seeing Michael Keating playing the bad guy adds a good twist from his normal roles. Without giving too much away it’s a good fun movie that boys of all ages will get a giggle from and of course the good guy finishes on top.
