The cute pastel coloured bon bons are actually triple milled soaps made from ethically produced and sustainably sourced Australian ingredients and enriched with shea butter and goats milk, creating a soap that is cream and moisturising, and so gentle that its suitable for sensitive skin too. I love that the soaps are also made locally in Melbourne and are not tested on animals.
What I also love, is that the soaps are hand wrapped in Australia by Ability Works, a social enterprise organisation that aims to empower people with disabilities by providing them with meaningful employment.
The soaps smell absolutely incredible, and there are heaps of different fragrances to chose from, and each scent is wrapped in a different coloured wrap. The range include;
- Rose Geranium - hot pink wrap
- Tearose - pink wrap
- Mandarine - orange wrap
- Pink Grapefruit - pink wrap
- Lime - lime wrap
- Green Tea - soft green wrap
- Cucumber - green wrap
- Milk - blue wrap
- Frangipani - yellow wrap
- Violet - violet wrap
- Gold wrap or Silver wrap
I tried the Mandarin (orange), Cucumber (green), Lime (lime) and Pink Grapefruit (pink), which all not only look incredible with the pretty whimsical wrap in gorgeous colours, but they all smell absolutely divine too, so its difficult to pick favourites. If had to pick, as I do love good zesty citrusy scents, my favourites of the four different ones I tried, would consequently be the Pink Grapefruit and the Mandarin. Again, the Cucumber and the Lime are also both divine, but their scents slightly more subtle.
But seriously, how gorgeous are they, so if you're looking for an alternative present, then you really must check out these Bon Bon Soaps from Murphy & Daughters.
