With a toddler in the house, needless to say that we go through heaps of baby skincare products, something that will only increase once the new baby arrives in May. Today I share my thoughts on the Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder and Nourishing Lotion;
What They Say:
Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder: Add a sprinkle of spring. Fragrant herbs and flowers lightly scent corn starch and baking soda to keep baby dry, comfortable and smelling fresh. This 100% talc-free formula is also phthalate- and paraben-free. Lightly dust powder onto baby’s skin after bath or when changing nappy, avoiding baby's face. Keep powder away from children's nose and mouth.

Burt’s Bees Nourishing Lotion: This new, thicker, creamier version of our popular Baby Bee Buttermilk Lotion includes natural ingredients like Beeswax, Sunflower Seed Oil and Shea Butter that will keep your baby’s skin healthy soft and smooth, naturally.

What I Say:
I love that the Burt’s Bees Baby Bee products have been made with gentle and natural ingredients designed to help nourish and care for the sensitive bay skin. The products contain natural ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Sunflower Seed Oil, and 100% natural fragrances, and have been made without phthalates, parabens, petrolatum, or SLS.
The Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Dusting Powder has been designed to soothe and aid the healing of chafed skin and prickly heat rash. The Dusting Powder has been made with corn-starch, sodium bicarbonate, kaolin, bentonite and slippery elm bark, which work together to absorb moisture and keep the baby skin drier.
I also love that the Dusting Powder is made from 99.63% ingredients, including powdered rosebuds and herbs, which gives the powder a beautiful floral scent, in fact it is the nicest smelling powder that I’ve come across.
At just under $20 this powder is the most expensive baby powder that I’ve used for my little boy, but in saying that, the bottle is also twice as big, which does justify the bottle. And in spite of using it at every single nappy change, I find that a bottle lasts forever. And from the very first use, I could see and feel a difference in my little boy’s skin, simply softer and smoother, and with no irritations at all. Definitely well worth it’s price.
The Burt’s Bees Baby Bee Nourishing Lotion is a fragrance free lotion, as the name suggests, has no added fragrance so it has next to no scent, although you can just detect the natural ingredients from aloe vera, and shea butter. The lotion is made from 99% natural ingredients is super gentle, and like all Burt’s Bees Baby Bee products, it is suitable for even the most sensitive of baby skins. The lotion is quite creamy can be used all over the baby skin, and the shea butter and aloe vera means that it is so caring and nourishing on the skin, yet quickly absorbing into the skin, leaving it soft and smooth, with any sign of dryness instantly gone. And any remaining cream on my hands I just massage into my hands and nails, keeping them in top condition too!
So there you go, two products from Burt’s Bees Baby Bee range, that are both amazing and I highly recommend. Although if I had to pick a favourite, it would have to be the Dusting Powder, simply because it smells so lovely, whilst still being made from gentle and natural ingredients!
