I’m relatively new to Pixi Beauty, but have absolutely loved the few products I’ve tried so far (you can read more about Pixi Glow Tonic, Glow Mud Cleanser and Glow Peel Pads here). So when I was offered to try the Pixi Skintreats Rose Besties from Beautopia Hair & Beauty, I couldn’t be more excited.
The Pixi Skintreats Rose Besties, is a gift set containing;
- Pixi Rose Cream Cleanser, 135ml
- Pixi Rose Tonic, 250ml
These products are intended for all skin types and intended to give a dose of soothing, nutrient rich hydration for thirsty skin, for the ultimate hydrated glow.
The Pixi Skintreats Rose Cream Cleanser is made using mineral rich mud to help cleanse the skin, rose and avocado to condition, as well as chamomile and aloe vera to soothe. It is a very gentle cleansers, so it is also suitable for sensitive skin. The cleanser doesn’t foam up, and while it can remove most makeup (I do find I need a specific eye makeup remover for my long-wearing mascara), I prefer to use it as a second cleanse. It leaves my skin feeling so lovely, soft and smooth. And it has the most gorgeous rose scent, which is delicate without being overpowering.
Then there’s the Pixi Skintreats Rose Tonic which is designed to be used on a cotton pad, wiped over the face after cleansing, morning and evening. I admit that I am a huge fan of the Glow version, and it will still be my favourite, simply as it works great to exfoliate the skin and thus help keep my breakout prone skin under control, but this one is brilliant, especially if you prefer a gentler version, or perhaps to use in the morning. It contains rose flower water, and is rich in nutrients and it helps to balance skin’s pH levels, minimise redness, and tone and calm the skin. Like the cleanser, this Rose Tonic has the most divine rose scent, which you’re sure to love too.
Overall these products really are lovely, and yet again Pixi Beauty has impressed with me with the quality of their products. I also love the fact that they are free from paragons, and cruelty free, plus you just cannot help but adore those pretty pink bottles!!
