My two little boys have unfortunately taken from their dad, and have very sensitive skin. So while there’s a multitude of different kids skincare on the shelves, sadly we cannot just use anything on them. But we’ve recently put some products from CocoBare Baby to the test.
The products made from only naturally derived and the purest of ingredients, and dermatologically tested and formulated for babies delicate skin. And of course they are free from all the chemical nasties including parabens and palm oil free, and not tested on animals.
The key ingredient in the products is coconut oil, which has healing benefits on the skin, as well as it penetrates deeper into the skin to moisturise and nourish the skin. Coconut oil also helps protects the skin from potential bacteria, and can help soothe skin conditions like nappy rash, eczema, and dry scalp.
We tried the 2-in- 1 Shampoo and Body wash with hydrating Aloe Vera and Chamomile extract. The wash has a gorgeous gentle coconut scent and personally I really love that it is a 2-in-1 formula, as there is nothing worse than juggling several different bottles in the shower or bath when trying to wash little ones. It leaves my boys skin and hair clean, and feeling soft and smooth.
The Baby Lotion is made using Shea Butter and Chamomile. It has a very light consistency, and I really like how quickly it absorbs in to the skin and without any stickiness, leaving the skin clearly soft and deeply moisturised. And again with a gentle and delicate scent of the coconut lingering on the skin.
Finally there’s the Bottom Balm, made with beeswax, olive oil & calendula oil along with zinc oxide. Thankfully my two boys have never really suffered with nappy rash, but used at each nappy change, it helps form a protective layer on the skin to prevent any rashes.
These products really are lovely and I love that they are Australian made using nothing but natural and organic ingredients without any of the nasties. On top they come in the most adorable bottles with a cute bear, which my boys really like.
They are well priced considering their quality, and knowing how gentle they are on my boys skin, I can certainly see myself purchasing these again for them, and in particular the 2-in-1 Shampoo and Body Wash, which comes in a huge bottle with a pump.
