Time to call on my boys for another toy review, so today we're talking about the Crocodile Creek Busy City Floor Puzzle...
The puzzle itself has 50 pieces and is recommended for kids aged 4 years+, and it features heavy duty thick pieces that are not easily bend or damaged, and they have a high quality bright coloured print too.
The jumbo pieces are also so big that they do not easily get lost, and they are easy to for little fingers to work with. And the large number of pieces will keep the kids entertained for a long time as they try to work out how to assemble the puzzle, while helping them develop their cognitive and motor skills.
The Crocodile Creek Floor Puzzle is available in several varieties, including farm animals and this Busy City format, which has a busy and elaborate scene of varies cars, busses, trucks, train, cement truck, rubbish truck, fire truck, police truck and so far, which will also excite the kids.
My 4 year old boys really loves making the puzzles, and he has hardly done it, before he pulls it apart, and starts over again, and again. I have lost count of how many times he has made the puzzle, but it is just as much fun each time. I love seeing him so concentrated do doing it, and have noticed that for each time, he is getting better and better at it, clearly developing his skills - so it is not just a fun game, but an educational and developmental toy at the same time. And it is the best toy when you would like your little pre-schooler, who is otherwise full of energy and beans, to quiet down for a little while, as well as it makes for the perfect toy on rainy days.
