The event was held at the Ludlow Bar on Southbank in
Melbourne, which is a nice restaurant, and with the small gathering of beauty
bloggers, it was the perfect setting for the small and intimate event. The
atmosphere was so nice and relaxed, and immediately on arrival the chit chat
was happening.
As always when you are at a blogger event, it is so great to
catch up with fellow bloggers, and meet and put a face to the ones you’ve not
yet met. And everyone has so amazing blogs they are so passionate about and put
so much work into, so make sure to check them out via the links below the
images below.

And how could I not mention the food. It was amazing. I am a
lover of seafood and the seared scallops, the salmon nigiri, the prawns twisters
were so amazing! But so were the semi dried tomato & pesto pizzetta and the
grilled vegetable bruschetta. And of course not forgetting the burnt lemon curd
tarts!! Yummo!!
There were also a large selection of other Mary Kay skincare
products put out to be played with..
That aside, the main reason for the event was of course the
new colour collection, Fairytale & Fantasy.
And there was plenty of time to play with the products..

The products are packaged in gorgeous purple boxes, and we
were lucky to given a gorgeous purple velvet cosmetic bag containing the full
collection (apart from the gel eyeliner, which had not arrived at Mary Kay in
time for the launch), which includes two nail polishes, two lip stains, four smoke
& shimmer eyeshadow wands and two eyeliners. And all the products are so
gorgeous, and pigmented, so stay tuned for my full reviews coming up soon.

We were also given a few other Mary Kay products including a mini eye makeup remover, a mini mascara and a night cream, ain a gorgeous small cosmetic bag that included a little red travel tag shaped like a plane – and this will be so perfect for my baby boys suitcase the next time we go travelling.
How amazing are these goodies, can you believe the
generosity of Mary Kay!
This was lovely event and I loved that it was so small,
informal and intimate, which made it so much easier to sit and chat and learn
more about Mary Kay and their fantastic products. I am already looking forward
to the next Mary Kay event.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much Jenn - it is from Cue and a few years old, from well before I got pregnant, so I was just so excited that I could actually fit it again, as I've always loved it!
