23 January 2019
THE ULTIMATE BEAUTY AND HEALTH SURVIVAL KIT FROM TVSN WITH CARLA OATES, SAND + SKY, WRINKLES SMINKLES, AND HEALTH FOUNDRY
A new year, for most means lots of resolutions. I don’t usually make too many, simply as I know I will rarely keep them and let myself down. And hey, in my opinion, you also gotta live life. What’s the point of depriving yourself of all the good stuff. Everything in moderation, if you ask me.
That said, I do have a few things I want to improve on in regards to my health, drink more water, eat a little healthier, nurture my body and skin from within and find a little more time for pampering myself, which can be a little hard at times with two little kids.

PRODUCT REVIEW: HEALTHY EATING WITH EAT FIT FOOD CLEAN + LEAN
A little while ago, I got the opportunity to try the Eat Fit Food Clean + Lean program. With two little toddlers, there's no denying that days can be hectic, and even more so at dinner time, when things are often rushed - and consequently, it is easy to fall into the trap of cooking quick fix meals that gets dinner on the table in a hurry. That said, I always make sure that my kids are looked after and eat healthy and nutritious food, and the kids always come first, and sometimes finding the time and energy to do so for yourself, can be tricky. So when I was offered to try the Eat Fit Food program, I was naturally excited.
Eat Fit Food makes food, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, prepared by chefs using the finest quality ingredients from local farmers, and all meals are portion and calorie controlled with zero additives, no refined sugar.
The food is delivered to you in insulated cooler bags - though unfortunately, I live too far out in the outer suburbs of Melbourne, so they company was not able to offer delivery -and I guess, this is my only gribe. Yes, my suburb used to be an old STD code, but it is no longer, and is classified to be within the Melbourne, so really feel the company need to readdress this issue.
Anyway, the food comes in plastic containers, ready to be tipped onto a plate, heated in the microwave and then eaten.
And I have to say that I was very impressed. Everything looked incredible, and so healthy to.
The meal plans change all the plans, and when you sign up, you basically select the meals you want, so you can be sure that you'll only get food you want and like.
I got a of food already selected for me, and still I was absolutely loving it. Some of the things I had during the five days included;
Breakfast
Lunch
Dinner
Snacks
Common for all meals, were that the serves were decent, so every meal left you fully satisfied until the next meal. And everything was simply so fresh and healthy, with gorgeous flavours.
My biggest issue is that I snack a lot during the day, especially during my 'down-time' when my two little boys are taking their nap - but with the Eat Fit Food program, I was simply so full, and the allocated healthy snack was enough for me to not want more.
I didn't expect a huge change, and while I did not weigh myself before and after the program, - over the cause of the five days, I found that I generally felt better and wasn't as tired and drained, in short, I think, because I ate healthier - and consequently I also felt that I was less bloated.
The program really reinstated that eating healthier food has an amazing effect on your body and well-being, with benefits after just a few short days - and it has helped me re-think my eating habits.
The Eat Fit Food is not the cheapest programs, and yes, you can cook cheaper yourself, but if you're short of time, or simply want a kick start to a healthier lifestyle, then I highly recommend that you give Eat Fit Food a go. They are several programs available, including cleanse, so there's bound to be something that matches your requirements and health goals. There are also heaps of tips and suggestions on their website, as to how much water you should drink, how to snack etc, which is very useful.

PRODUCT REVIEW: FITBIT ALTA - KEEPING ME ACCOUNTABLE AND MOTIVATED
I used to be very active, exercising a long, constantly on the move. Then I had kids. And yes, I do still love, in fact, chase them around all day long, but wouldn't exactly call it exercise, something that I am keen to change. And that's where the Fitbit Alta comes in. You see, this fitness wristband is the perfect motivator…
This Fitbit Alta fitness wristband, is actually a watch, but with heaps more functions, including;
Twitter | Facebook | Bloglovin | Instagram |
- Tracking of activities all day long
- Tracking of sleep
- Reminders to move
- Call, text and calendar alerts
This means that the watch tracks your every move throughout the day, including steps, distance and calories burned, how many minutes you are active -and when you are not!
And it also gives you friendly reminders to move throughout the day, to encourage you to move and exercise more, as well as it also tracks your exercises for you, and send you frequent emails so you can keep track of your workouts, and use them to help improve.
When you’re on the go and haven't got your smart-phone nearby, it also gives you notifications at a glance, so you can keep moving without stopping to pick up your phone.
The watch can also help you get a better sleep by tracking how long and how well you sleep, so you can see your sleep trends, and help create a better routine. And you can even set an alarm in the Fitbit app and the watch will vibrate to wake you.
But it doesn't stop there, the Fitbit syncs wirelessly to your computer and phone, and you can also log your food, for a complete tracing of your health.
The watch itself is very slimline and comes with a rubber band that can easily be replaced and swapped for other colours, including black, turquoise or blue or even metal or leather ones for a most stylish look -and the actual face of the watch lights up by double tapping it, or turning it towards yourself. And you can also change the clock face, and pick from a variety of layouts from vertical or horizontal to see your workout stats just how you like them.
Needless to say that the Fitbit is sweat and rain resistant, so it will still go the distance at a sweaty gym session.
The whole idea of the Fitbit is that being healthy is not just about exercising, it is about all the time, 24/7 - your every move, activity and exercise, including what you weigh, how you eat, and how you sleep - and this all helps determine your overall health, and when you reach your goals.
And the progress reports you can see online, on the phone and via graphs on the app, along the way, are designed to help you stay motivated. The Fitbit even rewards you badges along the way as you reach your goals to help encourage you to reach your daily or hourly goals even faster.
And you can even compete with friends by sharing stats and send direct message and compete in Fitbit challenges via the leaderboard on the app.
I am seriously really loving this Fitbit. Even on the days I feel I am not moving a lot, I am surprised at how much I actually am throughout the day, so in that way, it is helping me feel a lot better about myself - but still, I know it is far from enough, and the reminder to make me move, is really handy, and certainly very encouraging too. And overall, the Fitbit really is motivating me to be more active, and continue to beat my own goals, keeping me accountable of my every move. And all while looking super sleek and stylish on my arm too, regardless of if I'm in exercise clothes or 'normal' clothes!

I never really make any new years resolutions, because frankly, I rarely keep them. I also love that the scales can be used by the family, as it has a 10 person memory, remembering the height and gender for each use with automatic use recognition how amazing is that. It also weights up to 182kgs, and in increments of 0.05kg, so it will automatically track even the tiniest of weight change. Below are some pics of my hubby's weigh-in stats;
And again, the scales are so easy to use. You simply give them a light tap to 'activate', and then jump on, while also opening up the app on your smart phone. And then you wait for a few moments as all the results are sent to the app, and immediately analysed for you.

- Body Fat - the percentage of body fat your body contains compares to your lean body mass - a too high fat percentage increases the risk of health related issues such as heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes
- Body Water - the total amount of water in the body - a good hydration helps regulate body temperature, eliminate waste and improves overall health and feeling of well-being
- Bone Mass - the amount of bone mineral in bone tissue - as you get older, a decrease in bone mass could result in weak bones more prone to braking, so monitoring is essential
- Muscle Mass - total weight percentage of muscle in your body - healthy muscle mass is important for reducing body fat levels, increasing metabolic rate and accelerating the output of energy/calories
- Body Mass Index (BMI) - provides general indication of one's health factoring in both the height and weight of an individual - being within a healthy BMI range reduces the risk of health-related problems such as high blood pressure, stroke and diabetes

WE ARE HANDSOME X VAALIA SUPPORTING LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER
After my latest pregnancy, and not long after, spending almost 5 months at the Children's Hospital with our little sick boy, and then the following year being dominated by way too frequent full-day trips to the hospital for checkups and giving medicine to our little boy - this year I can hopefully relax a little more and start focusing a little on myself again - and with that, start to get fit again!
And what better encouragement than a new pair of active-wear leggings, and what better option than these limited edition pair of leggings designed by active-wear brand We are Handsome in collaboration with Vaalia.
The leggings have been designed to help women of all types express their vitality, inspired by the fresh vibrancy of Vaalia. The leggings are inspired by the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, which were once the focal point of the largest and most vibrant city in the world. Fresh, floral, vibrant and dynamic were the key design themes captured with Babylon. And isn't the design just stunning.
But what's even better is that all proceeds from selling these leggings (excluding the postage & handling fee) will be donated to Look Good Feel Better, a free national community service program which supports women with cancer.
Look Good Feel Better - LGFB is dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer treatment. Women participate in a practical workshop leaving them more empowered and ready to face their cancer diagnosis with confidence.
We are Handsome and Vaalia have cooperated on these stunning leggings, supporting LGFB, as Vaalia is all about feeling good on the inside and the outside especially with their yoghurts, which contains a unique trio of probiotics that help maintain gut health - while Australian We are Handsome are known for their beautifully designed active wear and swim wear designs and synonymous with of vitality - together the two brands wanted to inspire woman to express their vitality.
The leggings feature the bespoke We are Handsome FlexiCool performance fabric, with a construction that has been built for performance and designed to move with you, regardless if you use them for yoga, plates, running or simply lounging around at home. The full length leggings, also have a very comfortable and flattering fit that stay put, without falling down.
For Miss Universe Laura Dundovic, who has helped launch the leggings and campaign, it is not just about keeping fit and eating well, but also feeling strong physically and mentally, but when it does come to food, she says that 'it’s easy to forget that when you’re feeling not so good on the outside it comes down to what’s happening on the inside. She is thus a big believer of probiotics such as those in Vaalia to maintain a healthy gut.
To keep fit, Laura try to go to the gym at least 3 times a week and I train with Base Body
Babes, and during summer she likes to go soft sand running. Her fitness secrets are to "enjoy working out! I don’t make myself do it or feel bad if I’ve been too busy to go. I simply keep active, socially too, power walking or running with friends. I’m not too hard on myself, which helps me enjoy it!
When it comes to food, Laura likes to "eat as clean as I can, but with a varied diet making sure to include the different food groups and foods that are good for my gut too like probiotics". And while she treats herself, she likes to make homemade treats so she knows what's in her food, and her little trick is to "start every day with a glass of lemon water, apple cider vinegar, ginger and honey".
We are Handsome x Vaalia Babylon Leggings - RRP: $129
Available from We are Handsome until the end of February 2017 or while stocks last.

PRODUCT REVIEW: THANKYOU LIME AND CORIANDER HAND WASH AND LOTION AND HAND SANITISER
You may recall that I've recently raved about the products from Thankyou (you can check out my previous posts via the labels or product directory). I mean, why wouldn’t you rave about them, as the products are not only great, they are also very ethical in that 100% of their profits from their products to helping people in need.
Today I'm going to talk about some of the newer products including the Thankyou Botanical Lime & Coriander Hand Wash and Hand Lotion, the Antibacterial Lemon Lime Hand Sanitiser, and the Lime & Black Pepper Nut Bar.
To ensure that people are aware of which specific projects, the Thankyou products are supporting, each and every product has a unique tracker ID number, which you can enter online or via a special Thankyou app, so that you can see exactly where the profits from the product you’ve purchased is going! Now how amazing is that!
The products that I've got in front of me, are thus supporting;
Botanical Lime & Coriander Hand Wash - a hygiene and sanitation program in Bangladesh
Botanical Lime & Coriander Hand Lotion - a hygiene and sanitation program in Bangladesh
Antibacterial Lemon Lime Hand Sanitiser - a primary school in Tanzania
Lime & Black Pepper Nut Bar - food distribution in Kenya as well as agricultural program in Cambodia
I also love the fact that these products are locally made here Australia, and are free from chemical nasties including SLS, SLES, EDTA and parabens, and they do not contain any synthetic fragrances or colours, palm oils or harsh detergents, and they are PH balanced and suitable for even the most sensitive skin and they have all been dermatologically tested. And of course they have not been tested on animals!!
The Thankyou Botanical Lime & Coriander Hand Wash is a gentle hand wash made with ingredients derived from nature. It contains natural oils and botanical extracts from Chamomile Flower Extract, Lavender, Eucalyptus, and bergamot oil, while lime, grapefuit and orange as well as coriander oil give is the most beautiful fresh scent.
The matching Botanical Lime & Coriander Hand Lotion is a light lotion that is light, and absorbs into the hands quickly and without any greasy residue, yet it is very moisturising and leaves the hands feeling very soft. It is loaded with among others Sunflower Seed Oil, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Avocado Oil, Rosehip Seed Oil, Cacao Seed Butter, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Kakadu Plum Fruit Extract, and again the lime, grapefuit and orange as well as coriander oil to give it the fresh citrus scent.
I absolutely love this hand wash and lotion combination - I wash my hands a lot during the day thanks to two toddlers in nappies, but with this combo by the sink, my hands are quickly clean again, and smelling divine - and the lotion keeps them from drying out.
Even my husband loves them - he is usually not too fond of over-fragranced hand creams, and often find them too girlie, but is a great option, suitable for the whole family. I also love that they both come in easy to use pump bottles and they look stylish by the sink.
When I am out and about, sometimes you just haven't got access to water and soap and that's when its handy to have a bottle of Antibacterial Lemon Lime Hand Sanitiser in the handbag or car. This small bottle kills 99.9% of all germs, but just rubbing a bit into your hands until it has absorbed. Usually hand sanitisers dry out the skin, and leave behind an alcoholic smell - but not this one which also contains aloe vera and vitamin E, it leaves the skin feeling soft and clean as it is also pH balanced. And the added Lemon Lime makes it smell refreshing and very clean too.
Finally, something a little different, the Thankyou Lime & Black Pepper Nut Bars, which are just so delicious. I love their slight citrusy tanginess, and while I am not usually too fond of black pepper, and initially didn't think I'd like these for that reason, they've got just the right amount of pepper to just give them a nice touch of spiciness. There are enough sweet muesli bars on the market, so it is a refreshing chance that these are savoury. Definitely a must try. I've found a new favourite!
So all in all, yet again some incredible products from Thankyou, which are very well priced too, and in addition helps support some great cause.
Thankyou Botanical Lime & Coriander Hand Wash - $7.59 / 500ml
Thankyou Botanical Lime & Coriander Hand Lotion - $8.99 / 500ml
Thankyou Antibacterial Lemon Lime Hand Sanitiser - $4.65 / 50ml
Thankyou Lime & Black Pepper Nut Bar
Available from Chemist Warehouse, Coles, Priceline & Woolworths

PRODUCT REVEW: HEALTHY SNACKING WITH ISOWHEY WHOLE FOODS
The silly season is upon us. And I think most of us can agree that is can be a difficult time of year to be healthy and eat well, as there are simply too many temptations all around.
Having two toddles means I'm constantly on the go, always something to do, toys to tidy up, nappies to be changed, or washing to be washed, hung or folded. It's never ending. But thankfully I've more or less managed to get my two boys to take a nap at about the same time each afternoon. And when they do, it's Mummy's Time, where I can relax (and catch up on blogging and emails), and enjoy a cuppa and a snack - I usually eat my lunch with my boys, which is normally not long after 11am, so by 2pm, hunger (and tiredness too) starts to set in, and I do look for a snack.
But lately I've been enjoying some snacks from Isowhey with a good conscience. These Isowhey snacks are gluten, dairy and soy free and contain no artificial colours, flavours or sweeteners.
The Isowhey Superfood Snack range is huge. As a coffee addict, I've been particularly enjoying the Coffee and Raspberry snacks which contain freeze dried ground roasted Arabica coffee, and raspberries to add antioxidants, vitamin C and fibre, as well as raisins for a touch of sweetness as well as cacao. These dark cocoa coffee raspberry chews are so delicious. I love that they are not overly sweet, yet the intense coffee and cacao also means that they are very satisfying, so when the packaging suggests that a serving is two squares, then this really is sufficient.
I've also been loving the Maca and Walnut snacks, which along with the nuts, seeds and grains, also contain Maca which is rich in amino acids, B vitamins, iron, calcium and sterols, and whole walnuts, which adds a lovely crunch and lots of monounsaturated and omega-3 fats. Finally these also contain dates, which adds a lovely natural sweetness to the snacks. I really love nuts, so these are so nice.
The Kale and Lime are loaded with kale which contains a massive 45 different flavonoids with antioxidant benefits, vitamin K, fibre and omega-3, lime which is high in vitamin C while also adding flavonoid compounds and antioxidants, and finally apple for its pectin, polyphenols and antioxidants and not least natural sweetness. I love all types citrus, both scent and taste, so needless to say that I love these slightly zesty snacks. I guess they do have slightly unique flavour, but personally I can't get enough of them.
Then there's the Brown Rice Protein Snack Balls which are available in several varieties, including Dark Chocolate and Goji or Dark Chocolate, Banana and Baobab. These little packs contain 4 protein balls, which are loaded with nutritious, antioxidant-rich ingredients including dates, dark chocolate, coconut, pepitas, goji berries or banana, chia seeds and wholegrain brown rice protein - and each small pack will give you a huge
which will give you 5.8g of protein to help you satisfy hunger and cravings between meals. And they really are more-ish, although, again, one serving of the 4 balls, is more than sufficient. My personal favourite of these are the Dark Chocolate and Goij flavour.
I really enjoy these snack options from Isowhey, and love that I eating a healthier alternative that is not loaded the artificial colours or flavours, but rather I get an additional dose of proteins, vitamins, and antioxidants. And they are so delicious that you wouldn’t' even know they're classified as health foods!! I highly recommend that you check them out!

PRODUCT REVIEW: PERKII PROBIOTICS
Since I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis well over a decade ago, I have, needless to say often had issues with my digestive system - although I here have to say that I am very fortunate and my illness is well managed and currently under control. That said, I am mindful of what I eat and drink, and certain things does make me very uncomfortable. SO when I was asked to put some new Probiotic drinks from PERKii to the test, I happily accepted.
There are a lot of different probiotic products on the market, but PERKii is a little different. They make refreshing water-based drink with a delicious splash of natural flavour, and just one 300ml bottle of PERKii delivers a massive one billion live probiotics. These probiotics come encapsulated in microgels, which are tiny natural beads that help the probiotics survive as they pass through the acidic stomach environment and through to the lower digestive system, where the probiotics actually do their work and they are ingested.
Drinking just a bottle here and there is obviously not quite enough for you to feel any major difference to your health, but if you're in a period where you're feeling a little unwell, or perhaps taking a course of antibiotics, which is said to be particularly tough on the tummy, then these flavoured waters are certainly a great option. Or of course if you are just after a healthy alternative to a refreshing drink when you're on the go.
I love that they are made using 85% water and made wit natural flavours, including;
All these flavours are really lovely, although my favourites are the Passionfruit & Mango and the Raspberry & Pomegranate, and I also love the fact that they contain just half a teaspoon of sugar that comes from apples and that in total there is just 26 calories in a bottle, so you can actually enjoy this refreshing drink with a clear conscience.
Available from IGA, Woolworths Metro Stores and Online from PERKii

PRODUCT REVIEW: BUMP BABES PREGNANCY BARS
When you’re pregnant, being healthy getting the right nutrition is vital for the pregnancy, and thanks to Bump Babes Pregnancy Bars, it is a whole lot easier. Here are my thoughts;
What They Say:
Bump Babe pregnancy bars provide a healthy and convenient nutritional boost to pregnant women in the form of a 50g health bar. Sound nutrition during pregnancy is the cornerstone of a healthy pregnancy and birth. Truly, even more than that, it is the foundation of a lifetime of good health, healthy communities, a healthy country and a healthy world!
RRP: $3.95 (50g) - Available from Select Retailers
What I Say:
The Bump Babes Pregnancy Bars are available for each trimester with targeted ingredients for maximum benefit during your pregnancy. They have been made from raw ingredients that are high quality proteins and fruits rich in antioxidants, and contain no artificial or added vitamins or minerals–perfectly safe for women to consume on a regular basis as well as consuming their pre-natal vitamins.
Common for three different bars is that they all contain the following ingredients;
First trimester - T1 Bar – Strawberry & Ginger-Nut
This bar has been developed to help combat morning sickness and fatigue. It contains strawberries, which are naturally rich in folates which have been proven to help reduce premature births & birth defects. It also contains Ginger, which contains all natural anti-nausea properties that can help reduce vomiting, as well as Almonds, which are naturally high in iron and may help prevent anemia & fatigue.
Unfortunately I was well into my second trimester when I came across these Bump Babes Bars, so I cannot really say how effective they were in combatting morning sickness and fatigue – a shame as I was really plagued by both for a couple of months starting when I was about 8 weeks pregnant.
However, regardless, the bar has a lovely strawberry taste, and luckily for me, the strawberry flavor does dominate so the ginger-nut is not so prominent, as that is otherwise not high on my list - but I actually really loved this flavour!
Second Trimester – T2 – Apricot & Coconut
These bars have been designed to boost tissue and cellular development and defend against anemia. They contain Apricots, which are known to contain iron that can help prevent anemia as well as dietary fibres that can help fight constipation. They also contain Coconut, which is rich in anti-viral, anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties that can help prevent colds, flu and other viruses. This can help strengthen the immune system of the pregnant mum and her unborn baby. Coconut can also improve blood circulation and the cellular development of the baby, the placenta, amniotic tissues, maternal tissues and new blood cells
One thing that plagued me every so often in the second trimester was the occasional constipation, and I believe that it is an issue for most pregnant women, so I do love that the dietary fibres in the form of the apricots have been included. In saying that, I am not sure that just one bar a day would be sufficient to ‘fix the issue’ so I have always made sure to drink plenty of water and eat lots of fresh fruit as well.
These bars taste so lovely, a little tropical if you like, from the combination of the apricot and coconut.
Third Trimester – T3 – Banana, Macadamia & Caramel
These bars for the third trimester have been developed to promote formation of muscles, bones, blood cells & more. They contain among others Bananas, which contain potassium which is known to help maintain regular blood pressure (especially important during the 3rd trimester when some women are at risk of preeclampsia). The bars also contain Macadamias, which are protein rich, and its all been mixed with caramel.
I am lucky that my blood pressure in both my previous pregnancy as well as this one so far, has been perfect. In saying that, I love that its been developed to help nurture and grow your unborn baby.
Of the three bars, the T3 bar is without a doubt my favourite, as the flavor is so delicious with the combination of banana and macadamia and a little fudgy too thanks to added caramel.
However, in general, each of the three bars are so full of flavor and taste great, and I found them all to very filling – so much so that they stopped me from constantly going to the fridge or pantry for another snack. I also love that they are a healthy snack alternative, perfect for in between meals or when you are on the go.
So overall I wish I’d come across these earlier, and if you are pregnant and looking for a healthy snack, then I highly recommend that you try the Bump Babes Bars to nurture your growing bump!

- Pumpkin seeds: packs a punch of protein, iron, omega-3s, magnesium, and zinc to boost the immune system & more
- Dates: pack a power supply of protein & amino acids which have been shown to help with dilation during labour for some women

A SEASON OF CHANGE - BODY, SELF-IMAGE & LIFESTYLE EVENT + GIVEAWAY
How healthy are you? It’s been
14 months since I gave birth to our beautiful boy, and I am pleased that I have
lost all the pregnancy weight. But that doesn’t mean that I feel healthy.
Countless of nights with poor sleep because of a teething toddler, means that I
often feel tired, and feel I have no energy to exercise, and by the afternoon I often
find myself reaching for an energy quick-fix in the form of a muesli bar,
biscuits or the like, - all of which is of course not very healthy, and full of
empty calories too.
EXPERT TIPS & ADVICE
VALUABLE RESOURCES
The prize pack contains a unique selection of health and
wellness products to help you through the 12-week program, including
Sculpt protein powder and shaker, Yes To Blueberries Facial Towelettes, BeGenki
Vital Face Mist, Be Genki Vital Oil Blend, and a selection of Pukka organic tea
sachets, all valued at over $100 – pretty cool, isn’t it!
And the winner is...... Rebecca P.
a Rafflecopter giveaway
The good news is that on September 1st 2014 A Season of
Change started up. It is a program that is free of charge –
yep, completely free, and it is inviting women from all walks of life to join
on-line for a 12-week event that will make a positive, sustainable
transformation to the way you eat, exercise and look.
A Season of Change is a 12
week body, self-image and lifestyle event. The program promises a 360
degree approach to well-being, participants will receive free weekly digital TV
episodes containing expert advice on nutrition, health and fitness as well as
self-image and styling.
EXPERT TIPS & ADVICE
The program will offer expert tips and advice on nutrition with
eating plans and recipes, health and fitness including exercise programs as
well as well as self-image and personal fashion and styling tips to complete
their lifestyle transformations.
It is hosted by Australian-raised television personality,
Henrietta Moore, and A Season of Change participants will be able to tap into
the vast knowledge of an ensemble cast of experts from Australia and New
Zealand including nutritionist Dane Fuller, chef Nick Honeyman, fitness guru
Luke Sniewski, yoga instructor Claire Robbie, competitive athlete and trainer
Anna Bramley and stylist and self-image expert Susana Tuya Sarmiento - all
without spending a cent.
According to Evan Matthews, creator of A Season of Change,
the new online program isn’t about willpower and it’s not a weight loss “challenge”
either. “A Season of Change takes a holistic approach to health and wellbeing
by helping women to make behavioural changes that they can actually live by
long term - one that sustains rather than depletes them and gives them
life-enhancing tips, resources and opportunities for long lasting change.”
The episodes are only seven to eight minutes in duration and
can be watched from any computer or mobile device, so even the most time poor
women can fit watching them into their busy lives,” host Henrietta Moore said.
“Plus, everyone starts at the same time, so participants go through the
transformation process together, encouraging a sense of community and support
between members,” she adds.
VALUABLE RESOURCES
Additional resources such as weekly eating plans, recipes,
fitness programs, behavioural insights and personal styling tips will be
available on the website after each episode airs, providing a weekly area of
focus for participants to work on.
“We’ve specifically chosen a team of inspiring experts
who’ll guide women through the program, offering nutritional advice, healthy
eating tips and delicious recipes, plus trainers who’ll give them the
motivation to get moving, while having fun and trying new things along the way.
We’ll also give their wardrobes some much-needed attention with styling ideas
that help them create a positive new look and get them to a place where they
feel completely transformed!” Matthews said.
Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with
other like-minded members who have similar goals, backgrounds and aspirations
with plenty of ways for them to unite, encourage each other and make friends
along the way.
I have already signed up and hope to get a little
healthier along the way, and be inspired with some new healthy recipes and get
a few lifestyle and styling tips along the way too.
And what are you waiting for? It's not too late, sign up now, and then watch
