These days there are a lot of subscription boxes on the market, but one of my latest discoveries is the Retreat Yourself Box, which has been designed for self-pampering, as it is loaded with a selection of seasonally selected natural and organic beauty, health and lifestyle products, and with the majority of the products full sized.
Retreat Yourself usually do quarterly boxes, but every so often they also do a special Mystery Box, which is always sold out within hours of going on sale. I was kindly sent the latest Retreat Yourself Mystery Box, and this is what was inside;
Minor Figures Coffee Nitro Cold Brew - Full Size, 200ml
This can contains nitrogen infused coffee with oat milk and coffee. As a big coffee drinker, I am looking forward to drinking this cold ice coffee.
Sugarless Organic Stevia - Full Size, 150g
This can contains organic stevia, a 100% natural sweetener that contains only 0.4 calories per serve. I actually don’t use sugar in my tea or coffee, but perhaps I can use this to get hubby to cut down on his sugar intake in stead.
Wotnot Facial Wipes - Sample pack, 5 wipes I personally tend to only use facial wipes when I am travelling, but when I do, I always have a few of these handy travel packs from whatnot with me - while thus not a big user, these are my favourite wipes as I simply love that they are gentle on my skin and free from all the chemical nasties.
Umi! Calming Face Scrub & Mask - Full Size, 95g
I have not come across this Australian natural skincare brand before, so quite excited about it, and love the name too, Unii, which is pronounced (you_me). The G is for grit face mask is scrubbing clay mask with kaolin and totarol extract for a soft, clean and clear skin
Grants of Australia Whitening Natural Toothpaste - Full Size, 110g
I love using the natural tooth pastes from Grants, so looking forward to trying out this whitening formula with baking soda to help whiten my teeth by hopefully getting rid of some of my coffee stains!
Metis Replenishing Body Bar - Full Size, 130g
Metis is another Australian natural beauty brand I’ve never heard of before, which is exciting. This hydrating body bar with sweet orange, frankincense and petitgrain promises to gently clean, exfoliate and replenish the skin thanks to mineral rich Australian sea salt, leaving the skin soft and smooth.
Metis Revitalising Mineral Salts - Sample, 30g
This blend of Australian sea salt and Epsom salts is designed to help draw away impurities, remove dead skin cells and ease muscle aches, while mandarin and lavender oils soothe the skin and cedarwood and rosemary help invigorate.
Eco Eucalyptus Essential Oil - Full Size, 10ml
I love the fresh scent of eucalyptus and it is also always great when someone in the house has a cold, either to use by adding a few drops to the shower or bath, or burning in an oil diffuser.
Vegan Made Delights, Cacao Sesame Butter Bar - Full Size, 55g
This raw organic snack bar sounds absolutely delicious, contains dates, sesame butter, cacao and vanilla.
Hello Hemp, Hemp Matcha - Sample, 20g
I admit that I am not fond of the taste of matcha, so I will probably pass this one on to a friend.
Hello Hemp Hemp Latte - Sample, 20g
As a big coffee drinker, I am very curious about trying this one out.
Overall, I have to say that I am impressed with this mystery box of goodies from Retreat Yourself. The box went in sale on the 7th August, for 24 hours only, retailing for just $36.95 (incl. shipping - Australia & NZ; flat rate to US, UK & Canada), and has over $70 worth of Aussie & NZ health & wellness products inside.

I love exploring new products and brands, and this box allows for that, and I love the variety that you will always find in the Retreat Yourself boxes, with the majority of the products also full sized (and not those annoying sachet samples), so you can actually try them out properly.
From this box, I am particularly excited about the skincare products from the brands new to me, including Imi! And Metis, and I cannot wait to try them out. And as for the Wotnot wipes and Grants toothpaste, they certainly won’t go astray either.

Sadly, by the time you read this, these Mystery Boxes are already sold out, but it is still a great teaser of what you will find in the even bigger quarterly boxes with the spring edition just around the corner, and of course you can also keep an eye out for the release of the next Mystery Boxes to launch
