PRODUCT REVIEW: 100% NATURAL LIPBALMS FROM CLEAN AND PURE

Winter-dry lips no more thanks to this beautiful delivery from Clean & Pure with a selection of their lip balms.
The Australian owned brand makes the Clean & Pure lip balms using 100% natural unprocessed ethically sourced Queensland and Victorian Manuka honey beeswax and extra virgin olive oil.

The Manuka Honey acts as an antiseptic to the skin, while the beeswax and help naturally moisturise and nourish the skin. There’s several different flavours available in the range including:

  • Manuka Honey
  • Cocoa Butter
  • Pawpaw
  • Vanilla
  • Peppermint
  • Coconut
  • Tinted Rose

Each of these have their own unique scent depending on what has been added to them, such for instance, the Coconut one, naturally has a coconut scent and the vanilla one vanilla!

My favourite balm is the rose-scented one which has been infused with a naturally occurring mica pigment to giving the lips a gorgeous flushed red hue, that is natural and still very subtle, and hence perfect for daily no-makeup wear. And it smells divine too.

I also really like the cooling sensation of the peppermint balm. My Hubby has taken a liking to the Vanilla Balm. And my two little boys love the Honey and Coconut ones, and they are really great for using on little kids too, as you can rest assured that they are free from chemical nasties.

The balms are lovely and creamy and feels so moisturising on the lips, and they are very well priced too at just $4.95 each, and I really love that there are so many different versions available so there is something for everyone, though personally I’d love to see more tinted ones. But overall no wonder these natural beauties are so popular that one lip balm is sold every minute Australia!!
