How quickly has this year gone! A year ago my big boy was over-excited about starting kindergarten, and now in the new year he will be starting school, Prep to be exact, and while he is sad to be leaving some of his friends at kinder behind, he is so excited about going to school.
But longer days at school, also means it is time to really get stuck into the lunches for him. He’s never been a big eater, so variety is definitely key to keep his interest, and the new Limited Edition Smash Bento Lunch Kit from Smash is a great as it allows for a large variety of food, thanks to the two compartments that are perfect for separating and storing sandwiches, fruit and snacks.

My big boy absolutely loved it. And the cute bottle and sticker sheet with 17 cute stickers and name stickers just added to the fun. The name stickers also eliminates lost lunch boxes, and allows the kid to decorate the lunch box in the same design as the bottle.
As a parent, I do find that this lunch box and the drink bottle are a little on the smaller side for a school kid, and probably more suitable for smaller kids in kindergarten (and the Smash Bento Bite Lunch Box is better suited for school kids, stay tuned for our thoughts on that one!) - so my little boy is over excited about taking over this lunch box - so while I fill the Bento Bite box for my school boy, I can fill this Bento 4 Piece kit for my little one at home, and that way his lunch is sorted at the same time (=less stress later), plus he is so excited eating his lunch out of a lunch box, just like his big brother.
