A new year means start of a new school year, and well for us, it meant that our no longer so little boy was suddenly big enough to officially start his 4 year old Kinder garden. And while I am a tad sad that my little boy is growing up so quickly, I am also loving seeing the little boy he's turning into. And needless to say that he was so excited about starting kinder, which by the way trouble or tears, as he was simply way too excited about all the new toys and friends to play with that he barely noticed that I left.
Anyway, starting school, or in this case kinder, does have its requirement, you simply got to have the gear ready, and the right gear, may I add...
And the gorgeous backpack from Crocodile Creek is perfect for a little kid as it has the right size for kinder garden and the first few years in school, not too big, yet big enough to hold all the essentials. The front of the bag has a large pocket, with extra internal compartments, and also a little hook, where you can put a key or other items don't want the child to lose. I also love how there is room to write the child's name inside the bag.
The back as a gorgeous colourful design that kids will love, and my boy immediately fell for the blue, lime green and red bag with the cute rocket design. And as a parent, I love that it is of high quality, fully lined, with tough zippers, adjustable padded straps and reinforced sided pocket to hold a drinking bottle, as well as extra compartments for extra storage.
My boy absolutely loves his backpack and he cant wait for it to be packed up so he can put it on his back, insisting on carrying it himself (yay!) as he is so proud of it and wants to show it off.
And of course, the kids also need lunch, and to complete the look Crocodile Creek has matching accessories including insulated lunch boxes which are PVC and phthalate free as well as the lining is free for lead for peace of mind. The two tier rocket lunch box, which has the same colourful design as the backpack, is also of high quality and has a sturdy design to avoid the food getting squashed. The underneath area is perfect to hold for instance fruit, while the top part can hold a few smaller containers with sandwiches etc. Yes, the lunchbox is perhaps on the larger side for what you'd think a little kid would need, however, kids in kinder garden or school do not usually have access to a fridge for their lunch, and with the heat in Australia during the summer part of the year, I actually love that the lunchbox is so large that you can easily fit in a small cooler block or two to ensure that their food stays cool.
My boy is not the biggest of eaters and never have been, so I believe that having a cool lunchbox makes somewhat of a difference, as again, he is proud of it, so he can't wait to pull it out, so he can show everyone.
Overall, these products from Crocodile Creek really are fantastic, and of such high quality that they are sure to last. Definitely worth checking out.
