ROMANTIC VALENTINES DAY FRAGRANCES FOR HER FROM CHEMIST WAREHOUSE

If you're looking to wear a special scent for a date out on Valentines Day with your partner, I've got you spoilt for choices with a great selection of romantic fragrances. So treat yourself, or you can of course always drop him a subtle hint...

If you're looking for something unique, the Missguided Babe Power Eau de Parfum definitely qualifies. It is made for the girl who wants her scent to match her unapologetic attitude, as well as evoking feelings of strength, confidence and femininity, and contains the following notes;

Top Notes: Grapefruit Zest, Sour Cherry, Crisp Apple, Pink Pepper
Middle Notes: Orange Blossom, Soft Peony, Jasmine
Base Notes: Vanilla, Musk, Candy Floss, Amber Crystals

Missguided Babe Power has a sweet fruity scent, where I find the cherry and vanilla quite dominating, though without it being overly sweet, as it has fresh undertones from the grapefruit and along with the musk that balances it out and makes it warm and powdery too. I am not usually fond of musk in fragrances, but in this case, I actually don't mind, as I think without it, the added candy floss would make it to sickly sweet, and it is simply a lovely scent for spring and summer, and the lightness means it is perfect for daytime use too. But it is the packaging which is really sets this fragrance apart as it comes in a stunning rose gold can, that makes it look like a can with a energy fizzy drink. Rose gold really has been so popular lately, so Misguided has really jumped on board here, plus the can is a bit of fun too. It even has a ring pull spray button with the words 'press for good vibes'.

Then there's the Mercedes Benz for Woman Eau de Parfum Natual Spray. This fragrance is a feminine floral oriental fragrance, that contains the following notes;

• Top Notes: Brazilian Gardenia, Blackcurrant Leaves, Pulp of Pear 
• Middle Notes: Orange Blossom, Jasmine 
• Base Notes: Sandalwood, Vanilla, Musk, Cashmere Woods

This is a beautiful oriental floral, yet fruity scent that has a slight powder feel of vanilla, which means it is not too overpowering either. The bottle itself is stunning with the lavender-pink bottle that's surrounding the iconic Mercedes Benz logo. 

The Hollister California Free Wave Eau de Parfum contains notes of mandarin, succulent blackberry, agave nectar apple flowers and orchids, and it is a divine fresh, floral and fruity scent. It is also quite light and mild scent, so its also perfect for those days when you don't want anything too overpowering, as well as it is ideal for younger women too.

And then there's the forever popular celebrity fragrances, where Jennifer Aniston has recently released the Chapter One Eau de Parfum, which contains;

• Top Notes: Pink Pepper, Bergamot, Orange Blossom 
• Middle Notes: Jasmine, Tuberose, Tiare, Californian Grapevine Flower 
• Base Notes: Tonka, Skin Musk, Teak Wood 

The fragrance which comes in a simple yet stunning sculptural tear dropped shaped bottle with a golden lid, is a delicate floral and citrusy scent, with a touch of warmth from the added wood. An understated beautiful casual fragrance that is the epitome of Jennifer Aniston's casual style. 

Next on the celebrity list is the also newly launched Definition Eau de Parfum from Christina Aguilera. This fragrance contains:

• Top Notes: Sicilian Bergamot, Italian Mandarin, Red Apple 
• Middle Notes: Vanilla Orchid, Diamond Orchid 
• Base Notes: Hinoki Wood, Ambergris, Heliotrolpe, Musk 

With the orchids, this fragrance is a oriental floral fragrance, which has sweet floral, yet slightly fruity and powdery musky notes too.

And woops, she did it again... Launched another perfume, yep, I am of course talking about none other than Britney Spears who has recently launched Sunset Fantasy Eau de Toilette. This fragrance contains;

• Top Notes: Ruby Red Grapefruit, Italian Mandarin, Sweet Apple 
• Middle Notes: Peach, Raspberry Leaf, Orange Blossom 
• Base Notes: Australian Sandalwood, Vanilla Moheli, Amber, Steamed Milk Froth 

Steamed Milk Froth.. well that's the first time I've heard of that added to a perfume. However nonetheless, this is a gorgeous fresh floral fruity scent, that is quite citrusy scent thanks to the mandarin, and grapefruit, but also sweet and juicy with the added apple, peach and raspberries, but without being too sweet as the sandalwood, amber and vanilla gives it a warm powdery feel. It comes in the now iconic Fantasy bottle, but this one in gradient orange and pink colours, that makes look like a summer sunset, and its just stunning. Its the perfect scent for a tropical holiday.

So there you have it, a beautiful romantic selection of fragrances, with something for every taste, but common for all is that they are very affordable and all available from Chemist Warehouse.
