PRODUCT REVIEW // BREAKOUT SAVIOURS FROM MEDIK8, THE ORDINARY AND POLLENATION SKIN

My hormonal breakout saviours…

My skin has always been temperamental, and the arrival of the cooler always set if off for a while until it adjusts again..

Here are some of my trusted saviours on rotation…

🤍 Ordinary - Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% - to hydrate, improve barrier, balance sebum. It leaves my skin less greasy and congested. It’s oil-free and layers well with my other moisturisers.

🤍 Medik8 Balance Moisturiser & Glycolic Activator - a light 97% oil free moisturiser with Niacinemide and Pre and Pro Biotics. Leaves my skin moisturised, clarified and with a mattified finish and also supporting skin barrier. To boost, using the Glycolic Acid Activator underneath a few times a week to exfoliate for an even smoother, brighter and clearer skin

🤍 Medik8 Crystal Retinal 10 - yes this anti-ageing wonder helps with firmness, pigmentation and brightness, BUT it is also helping improve cell turnover and decongest pores, and as it is also antibacterial so it is also doing absolute wonders at keeping congestion and breakouts under control. My HG and most repurchased product ever!!

💛 Pollination Honey Shots Clearing Gel* - with Manuka Honey, Green Tea Extract, Niacinamide and Lactic Acid, it helps soothe, reduce inflammation and redness, reduce excess sebum, and remove dead skin cells and clear up breakouts without drying out or irritating the skin. Absorbs well, and unlike other such treatment products, it works well under makeup too!

🤎 Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Masque - with charcoal and clay, to deep cleanse, remove dead skin cells and excess oil to decongest. The 2% is quite strong, so not for those with sensitive skin!  tend to mainly use on those stubborn breakouts as needed, and it really makes a difference drawing out impurities and help the skin clear up so much faster.

Have you tried any of these?
