This Mint & Citrus all natural room spray contains essential oils of peppermint, orange, mandarin and lemon myrtle and has been designed to eliminate odors and give your home a nice uplifting scent. The peppermint provides relief from stress, the orange oil encourages a positive outlook and ousts stress, the mandarin oil is balancing, uplifting and calming while the lemon myrtle oil is refreshing and uplifting.

And the room spray really does have the most uplifting citrus scent, with the lemon myrtle very dominant, which I really love. It quickly disguises the smell of my two dogs and what we had for dinner, and the beautiful scent lingers in the air for quite some time. And I love knowing that it is 100% natural so it doesn’t harm any of us, including our 14 month old boy if we should breathe it in.

The Vanessa Megan Essential Blend Soy Wax Candle*

 

At night I love burning scented candles, both to create a nice mood but also to spread a nice scent through our house. This candle is made from 100% natural soy wax, and because it doesn’t contain any chemicals, it  means that it doesn’t burn with a black smoke that both stain your walls and ceiling, but does even worse to your insides..

 

The candles are hand-poured in Sydney using natural soybeans and contains blend of five essential oils, to calm and relax the mind and body. The essential oils are ylang ylang to help regulate adrenalin flow and relax the nervous system resulting in a feeling of joy, lavender oil to soothe and calm the mind, patchouli to balance the mind, and geranium to lift the spirits, and it has the most beautiful and natural warm and musky scent, that’s perfect for a chilly night.

Blood Orange Foaming Body Wash*

 

Let me start by saying that this body wash is nothing short of amazing, no wonder it has selected as a finalist and judges' pick in the Popsugar Australia Beauty Awards 2014 Best Body Wash category!

The body wash is made using 100% natural ingredients, of which 80.25% are certified organic. The body wash has the most divine zesty citrus scent thanks to the essential oils of blood orange and lemon myrtle, that lingers on your skin for hours after you’ve used it, and they help keep your skin free from body odours as they both have anti-microbial properties. The wash is so refreshing to use in the morning, it is like a true wakeup call. It gently cleans the skin, and froths up to a nice soft foam, and it leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth due to containing among others aloe vera and glycerine that helps provide moisture to the skin, as well as olive squalane that hydrates and helps regenerate the skin, reduces wrinkles and assists in maintaining healthy skin.

Every Body Balm*

 

This tub of cream may be small, but it packs a serious punch. It was previously appropriately named Happy Hands and Heel Balm, as it is particularly suited for extremely dry, dehydrated or irritated skin. The 100% natural and certified cream instantly provides healing moisture and protection to the skin, getting it back to top health in no time. But that is not all. It is a true multi-tasker, also perfect to soothe a rash or bite, even sunburn, and it is so gentle that it can be used on eczema and dermatitis too! It contains among others shea butter that may help fade acne scars and scars, bees wax to provide moisture and protection to the skin and heals minor abrasions, calendula extract to speed up healing of the skin and german blue chamomile essential oil, which is anti-inflammatory and has skin healing properties.

The balm very concentrated so it only takes the tiniest amount. It is also a little greasy and takes a while to absorb into the skin, but the wait is all worth it once you feel its powers on your skin. It truly is a magic multi-tasking balm suitable for everybody and every need.

Rose and Chamomile Hydrating Face Cream*

 

This cream is designed for dehydrated, extremely dry skin and sensitive skin types as a day cream, as well as it can be used as a night cream for normal skin types. Unfortunately I have combination skin prone to breakouts, and sadly, even though winter always make my skin a little drier, this cream was just too rich for my skin, and by mid-morning it was feeling greasy and my makeup sliding off my face. I tried using it at night, and had a much better result. The cream is thick, rich and very concentrated, so it hardly takes a pea-sized amount to cover my full face, and while it does take a few moments to absorb into the skin, it leaves the skin feeling soft and intensely moisturised and nourished.  And when I woke in the morning, my skin is soft and smooth, and has a nice glow, and thanks to the intense moisture my skin feels more plumb and fine lines appear to have reduced in size overnight.

The cream is 100% Natural using 81.15% certified organic ingredients contains among others jojoba oil, hemp seed oil to help reduce wrinkles or minimise fine lines, hemp seed oil to add moisture and anti-ageing properties, chamomile extract to help purify and soothe the skin, calendula extract to help speedup healing, rose maroc essential oil to help treat broken thread veins, and vitamin E, olive squalane and aloe vera to add moisture, promote collagen production, reduce wrinkles, and keep the skin supple.

So there you go, these are my top picks from Vanessa Megan. All in all some brilliant products for both body and home. I particularly love the Body Wash, the room spray and the candle, but if my skin had been just a tad more on the dry side the, the moisturiser and the balm would have been perfect too.

And there are so many more beautifully sounding products in the Vanessa Megan product range – and I wish I had known about the Mummy’s Tummy Pregnancy Oil and not to mention the Pregnancy Perfume while I was pregnant! And I will definitely be checking out the baby range for use on my little boy, as well as I’ve also got my eyes on the natural perfumes, another candle or two, and the  body oils and hand and body creams….oh, and the tangerine shampoo and conditioner sounds pretty amazing too…
