PRODUCT REVIEW: KLASSE 14 DISCO VOLANTE SILVER WATCH
Those who know me, know that apart from beauty, my other passions are interiors and home wares, and jewellery, including watches. So today I'm going to share with you one of my most recent loves, the Klasse 14 Disco Volante Silver Watch with Mesh Band..
The Klasse 14 Disco Volante Silver Watch has a 36mm stainless steel face, with, and features an applied index dial, with a Quartz analog movement - and with its sleek silver mesh band it is simple and simply stunning - like a piece of classic and timeless jewellery, that will never go out of fashion.
Not that I'd ever need it, but he watch is even water resistant to 5ATM/ 50meters, and comes with a 2 years warranty
The design of the watch is inspired by the Klasse 14 creative director Mario Nobile's teenage fascination with UFO's, and how they could peacefully float in the air before silently rocketing off at mind-blowing speed. UFOs were a key source of inspiration for the design of this watch, the Disco Volante or “Flying Saucer” in English, with the stainless steel polished case with domed dial, and lens supported by brushed lugs that fuse together with the case back, creating a shape reminiscent of a “Flying Saucer”.
This watch looks so stylish and is literally weightless on my arm, and it matches my wardrobe, regardless if I'm dressed up to go out, if I'm casually dressed - and regardless of where I go, the watch never fails to attract attention, with many complementing it on its stunning design, and high quality features.
So I am really loving this watch, and love it more and more the more I wear it, so I highly recommend that you check out their huge collection - like me, you're sure to fall in love with them all!
Klasse 14 Disco Volante Silver Watch - RRP: $338 with free delivery worldwide

PRODUCT REVIEW: COOL CLUTCH PEARL CLUTCH
Today I've got something amazing to share with you… just look at this stunning pearl and diamante encrusted clutch. Isn't it just incredibly gorgeous? But it is more than just a stunning clutch that will be the talk of any party - you see, it is actually a cooler bag!! Yup, that's right, it’s a cool bag!!
All the clutches and handbags from Cool Clutch have the unique feature that they have a waterproof insulated lining that will help keep whatever you keep in your bag cool (or warm!). Some of the larger bags can hold a bottle of wine or even milk bottles for your baby - how brilliant is that! The Pearl Cool Clutch is a little too small for a bottle of wine or baby bottle, but probably could hold a hip flask if you should be so inclined… but personally I love that it simply helps prevent my makeup from melting when I'm out.
The clutch is hand stitched with hundreds of pearls and strips of diamantes’, and it is the perfect little clutch for a special event, such as the races, as it will simply complete any outfit. It would even be perfect for your wedding - I personally would have grabbed this up in an instant when I got married years ago, if I had come across it, as it is simply beautiful.
The box clutch comes with a gorgeous golden locking clasp and golden trim, and it also has a removable golden metal shoulder chain.
I am so in love with this clutch and cannot recommend it enough - so if you're looking for a special clutch for a special event, make sure to check it out - Personally I wouldn't mind a larger one for everyday use, so I can keep baby bottles and even my own water bottle cooler when I'm out and about.
Cool Clutch Pearl Cool Clutch - RRP: $129.99, but currently on sale for $100

Product Review: Gorgeous Cosmetics Sheer Brilliance Foundation
Having combination skin with some pigmentation to cover, it is
not always easy to find the perfect foundation, so I am always on the lookout
for the perfect one. So when I was asked to trial the *Gorgeous
Cosmetics Sheer Brilliance Foundation by the lovely and talented makeup
artist, Tammerly from Spoilt by Pink Diva, I naturally happily accepted. Here
are my thoughts;
What I Say:
Gorgeous Cosmetics is a young Australian cosmetic brand by David McConnell a qualified Makeup Artist and hairdresser. The brand aims to quality to the highest standard, with the philosophy that "There is no compromise on the quality of ingredients and I test the product extensively to ensure that it performs exactly the way I want it to. After 10 years of research and development, I am confident that our range is one of the finest available in the marketplace."
The Gorgeous Cosmetics Sheer Brilliance Foundation has a very light and velvety soft texture and a little tricky to use to begin, due to its texture with but it spreads and blends very well – providing that it is blended into the skin very quickly as otherwise I found that it sat on top of the skin in little lumps. It gives a sheer coverage, and leaving the skin with a naturally looking even skin tone with matte powdery finish. The foundation easily hides minor blemishes, but not entirely hiding larger blemishes and age spots/pigmentation.
Have you ever tried any of the products from Gorgeous Cosmetics? What is your preferred foundation?
What They Say:
"A lightweight foundation containing Vitamin A and E to
soothe and condition the skin. Offering light to medium coverage. Comes in a
pump bottle."
RRP: $50 (30ml) – Available from select retailers, David
Jones, Gorgeous Cosmetics Stores, and Gorgeous Cosmetics Online

It gives a sheer coverage, and leaving the skin with a naturally looking even skin tone with matte powdery finish. The foundation easily hides minor blemishes, but not entirely hiding larger blemishes and age spots/pigmentation.
I also found that it was difficult to build up any coverage with
the Sheer Brilliance Foundation, as again, the foundation would start to
‘ball up’ on my skin.
Having combination skin, my issue is always getting a
foundation to stay put all day. But that wasn’t a problem with the Sheer
Brilliance Foundation, and even without the use of a primer I got managed to go
until the afternoon before I needed to touch up and powder my t-zone. But with
the aid of a primer and a powder on top to set it, the longevity of the
foundation was extended by several hours. And the matte powdery look remains
throughout the day, yet without the foundation settling into unsightly lines
and creases in the face.
Gorgeous Cosmetics recommends applying the foundation with a
brush or a sponge to "avoid any cross contamination from hands to face" - and I
agree that using a brush does give the nicest and most even result. However, in
saying that, I also found that I got a nice even result using my fingers, and
as the foundation comes in a pump bottle, and you are only pumping out just the
amount of foundation needed, as well as I would always wash my hands prior to
applying the foundation anyway, the "cross contamination" would be minimal.
And I do like the fact that it comes in a pump bottle, as it
is not only so easy to use, it is also more hygienic than constantly dipping
your fingers into a jar. However, as the pump bottle is cream coloured, my only
issue is that it would be impossible to see when the foundation is nearing the
end.
The foundation has a slight chemical scent, which in a way
also smells a little 'old style' and possibly as if the foundation has been in
use for quite a while (although it clearly has not). And while I’m not loving
this scent, it is however still very subtle, and quickly disappears once the
foundation has been applied and absorbed into the skin.
At $50 this foundation is not cheap, but as you can only use
a little and not build up the coverage, a bottle would last you quite a while.
And the Fact that the coverage cannot be built up is along with the scent my
only negatives about this foundation. But on the other hand, as the name
suggests this is a sheer foundation and I am therefore also wanting a slightly
better coverage than this foundation is intended to offer.

At this point it does not seem that these
accessories are available in Australia (what’s new!!!), but they are available
for a limited time through the American retailer Nordstrom for US$120.
While I think these Gold Tattoos look
absolutely stunning and very extravagant, and they would be perfect accessories for the
upcoming Christmas parties, I personally prefer my jewellery to be a bit more…..permanent!
What do you think do you think of these
tattoos? Would you wear temporary tattoos?
