PRODUCT REVIEW: MATRIX BIOLAGE SUGAR SHINE ILLUMINATING MIST

With long hair, that is coloured, and frequently heat styled, it can often be left looking stressed and dull. But lately I've been loving the new Matrix Biolage Sugar Shine Illuminating Mist.

The Matrix Biolage Sugar Shine Illuminating Mist is a part of a new hair care range, which has been inspired by skincare, to create exceptional shine with the use of sugar. Sugar is a natural humectant that prevents moisture loss and buffs away dullness, and is thus often used in for instance body scrubs.

Matrix Biolage Sugar Shine Illuminating Mist is ultra-light weight leave-in spray, providing brilliant shine while smoothing hair, controlling static and fly-aways. This multi-tasking mist is free from parabens, and also provides heat damage protection from styling tools, protecting the hair up to 230C.

The spray is super easy to use, simply shake well and then spray onto the hair and then style as usual. Ad immediately it leaves my hair looking so shiny and healthy, and it lasts all day. I love the fact that it can be used on both damp as well as dry hair, to give me hair 'new life' on the days I don't wash it, and that it gives my hair a moisture boost. I also love that it is gentle on my hair, and also can be used on my colour treated hair, without fear that it will ruin the colour. And of course I also love that that pretty girly pink bottle and the fact that it smells absolutely incredible from the infused Grapefruit, Orange, Jasmine, Sugarcane and White Musk, which gives it a beautiful sweet fruity scent that continues to linger in the hair.

I really love using this Sugar Shine Illuminating Mist as it simply leaves my hair looking so much better, and it is so quick and simply to use, so if your hair is looking a little dull, I highly recommend you try this Illuminating Mist, you won't be disappointed. Personally, I can see myself repurchasing this, as well as I am keen to try out more products from the range, which also includes shampoo, conditioner and hair scrub!

PRODUCT REVIEW: MATRIX BIOLAGE WATERLESS CLEAN AND FULL DRY SHAMPOO

Washing my long thick hair takes a lot of time. Not just washing it, but drying it afterwards is actually what takes the longest - time I sometimes haven't got with two little toddlers running around between my legs. So I rely on a good dry shampoo, and lately I've been loving the new Waterless Clean & Full Dry Shampoo from Matrix Biolage.

This dry shampoo however, promises to go beyond simply just cleaning the hair, it also gives the hair benefits allowing it to retail its natural oils and colour. And it also helps give my thick limp hair some much needed volume.

Unlike many other dry shampoos, which often leaves my hair looking matte, and actually sometimes more dirty than I started out, or in some cases make my hair look grey, neither is the case with this Waterless Clean & Full Dry Shampoo from Matrix Biolage. It makes my hair look shiny and healthy, while absorbing that extra grease around especially the hairline and the roots. And it has the most refreshing scent thanks to containing mint leaf, which is such a natural and gorgeous scent, - and a refreshing change from often artificial and overly floral scented dry shampoo.

Also worth mentioning is that just a few squirts are needed, so the can will last you quite a while. Not the cheapest dry shampoo that I've used, but by far one of the most superior ones I've come across. Highly recommended.
