The new Thunderbirds Are Go toy range includes the Thunderbirds characters in different sizes along with different version of the vehicles;
3,5” Action Figures - Scott, Gordon, Virgil
These small figures include the Tracy brothers, and each comes complete with highly detailed individual accessories
These larger action figures are fully articulated and comes with interactive features including lights, and several different phrases.
The Virgil Tracy is equipped to face any situation. He has a detachable Rescue Claw that can be used to assist with demolition, heavy lifting and clearing debris. His search-and-rescue light can be used to see into any dark spaces or send out coded signals. And you can press the button to hear his voice as he communicates with International Rescue on his missions.
Launch ’N’ Go - Thunderbird 2 and 4
These small vehicles feature a simple press down feature to launch, and you can also connect them together to create a row or launchers.
Motion Tech Vehicle - Thunderbird 1,2, and 3
These vehicles comprises of new motion-sense technology, interactive launch features with sounds and phrases.
Rescue Mission Thunderbird 2 and 4
These rescue mission vehicles are true embodiment of the Thunderbird spirit.
The Thunderbird 2 vehicle is for demolition, heavy lifting and logistics, and it features a Grapple hook and zip line with lights and sounds, as well as retractable wings. This comes with a 3,75” Virgil figure that can fit into the cockpit of the vehicle. Then press the button for launch sounds as you pretend to take off. You can also release the grappling hook and see Virgil slide down the zipline to the rescue!
The Thunderbird 4 is the under-water search and rescue vehicle, and it has a pull-back to release function and transforms into a drill pod. This vehicle also includes a 3,75” Gordon Tracy figure that can pilot the vehicle and tackle even the most difficult rescue missions.
My boys are absolutely loving these toys, and have so much fun playing with their dad with them. The vehicles and the fact that the small figures fit into them, makes their role-play even more fun. They have already added some of the other toys onto their Xmas wish lists, including especially the remaining small action figures. And we also hope that the Thunderbirds 1 and 4 will become available in the Rescue Mission vehicles at some point too. If your kids are into action packed play too, - or if daddy wants to re-live his childhood, then these toys are definitely worth checking out.
