Product Review: Scentcillo Essential Oils + Giveaway

I am a huge fan of essential oils. I have to big dogs, which live inside, and while I love my dogs to bits, I do not want my house to smell of dogs. There’s nothing worse. So apart from washing my dogs regularly, I make sure that the house is aired thoroughly every day, and well, then I rely on room sprays and scented candles to make my house smell nice – that is, until I discovered the essential oils from Scentcillo. 

Scentcillo is Australian made and owned, and all products are handmade in small batches to ensure quality and freshness. High quality pure essential oils are sourced from reputable Australian companies, and where possible, certified organic ingredients are used. The products do not contain sulphates, parabens, petrochemicals, propylene glycol, PEGs, silicones, lanolin or mineral oils, as well as they do not contain any fragrant oils, synthetic fragrances or colours. And of course, the Scentcillo products have not been tested on animals.

I also love that Scentcillo donates 2% of their profits go to Greenfleet Australia, which is a NGO environmental charity that offsets greenhouse emissions by planting native trees that soak up CO2 from the atmosphere. This also reduces salinity and soil erosion and provides a habitat for wildlife.

The Scentcillo essential oil blends are packaged in small recyclable glass bottles, which are dark blue in colour to protect the oils from UV light, and thereby enhance the life of the oils and their effectiveness.

There are four different essential oil blends in the Scentcillo range, Oracle, Shaman, Tango and Starlet, with each scent blended to transport you to a different world. 

Oracle - mystical and meditative. With a combination of the citrus tones of clementine essential oil with the rich, warm, spicy scents of frankincense, myrrh and sandalwood creates a bold and spicy aroma.

 

Tango - romantic and sensual. A warm floral scent combining the exotic aroma of ylang ylang with palmarosa and tangerine essential oils for an exquisite and alluring fragrance.

 

Shaman - uplifting and dynamic. The stimulating and refreshing mix of lime, pink grapefruit and lemon creates a citrus burst of aroma layered with the woody overtones of cedar wood and cypress.

Starlet - feminine and flirty. The sweet floral and feminine aroma of rose geranium and frangipani intermingles with wood and citrus notes to create a captivating fragrance.

Each scent is beautiful and so unique on its own, and makes your house smell absolutely divine. My personal preference is Shaman, as I just adore the uplifting and citrusy scent of lime, pink grapefruit and lemon. Just a few drops added to my oil burner, and instantly any smell of dogs, and last night’s dinner, disappears as an amazing beautiful scent spreads through my house. Why didn’t I discover the essential oils from Scentcillo sooner!
