Product News: Guerlain Spring Colour Collection 2013

Another brand, another makeup collection launch – this time it is Guerlain is launching their Spring 2013 makeup collection, which is all about soft shimmer!

The hero of the new collection is no doubt the Météorites Perles du Paradis

Guerlain Météorites Perles du Paradis – Limited edition (US$70.00)

To illuminate the skin with an angelic glow, Guerlain’s legendary Météorite Pearls are getting a boost and coming out in an XXL limited edition size. The gorgeous compact features six skin-toned and pastel shades.

To suit the ultra-feminine feel of the spring collection, the traditional correcting colours blue and green, have been replaced by sweet shade of pink and purples, to brighten dull areas, and silver to reflect ambient light and iridescence to ensure one-of-a-kind radiance. Dark zones disappear, greyness is erased and fatigue vanishes. The face lights u and shimmers subtly, revitalised and instantly awakened, as if by magic. This sheer, refreshing effect embellishes absolutely every type of complexion. The soft, caressing, pale pink powder puff is topped with an elegant black box in tribute to women’s inherently feminine flair.

The actual pot is taller and circumference is a little larger than the original Météorites, and this is to make room for the glamorous and girlie pink powder puffer.
 

Guerlain Ecrin 4 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette – Limited Edition (US$59.00)

Two exciting, colourful new Eyeshadow harmonies, each with four silky powders in each case, which can be freely mixed and matched without worrying about applying then in any particular order. They play on light and shadow, and are velvety and delicate, slightly iridescent and metallic, so they can be blended to perfection, or used on their own for a unique look. The new Guerlain makeup collection is available now at selected Guerlain counters in the US and in Canada. For those of us in Australia, let’s just hope that it will hit our shores soon too, and that the price mark-up won’t be too large!!

Personally I have been waiting the Guerlain Météorites for years, simply because they just look so gorgeous and pretty in the pot – and the new ‘Paradise’ version, has also jumped right to the top of my wishlist!!
