PRODUCT REVIEW: 12REASONS MARULA OIL HAIRCARE FROM IGLAMOUR

Now how pretty are these bottles of haircare from Australian 12Reasons, they’ll seriously look amazing in the bathroom with their black packaging with the rose gold accents. But while gorgeous packaging is always a big draw card for me, it is what’s inside that truly counts, and thankfully 12Reasons got that under control too. The products are sulphate and paraben free, as well as they are also vegan and cruelty free. 12Reasons has three different ranges, each with its own hero ingredient, and I’ve put the 12Reasons Marula Oil Shampoo, Conditioner, Mask and Serum* and to the test, which has been designed to help tame frizz.

12Reasons is called so as their products have 12 unique advantages for the hair, including; cleanse, detangle, colour protection, rich nourishment, anti-frizz, eliminate product build up, deeply moisturise, add brilliant shine, smooth, nurture dry and damaged hair, improve manageability, and won’t weigh hair down.

The products in the Marula range, naturally contain Marula oil as the key ingredients, to help frizz and fly-aways, along with Argan Oil to restore and gently strengthen the hair, as well as Fruit and Seed Oils to add softness and shine.

The 12Reasons Marula Shampoo helps gently cleanse the hair and while the Marula Conditioner helps add deep hydration back into the hair leaving it easy to comb out, silky soft and smooth, and so easy to comb.

Once of twice a week I have also been using the 12ReasonsMarula Oil Mask, which adds even more intense hydration to the hair thanks to also containing rich Avocado and Coconut Oil, as well as Argan Oil to restore and strengthen the hair, hydrolysed Corn, Soy and Wheat Protein to nurture dry, damaged hair and improve manageability, and soften and moisturise dry and dull hair. The mask can be used as often as needed, but for my hair, using the conditioner and supplementing with the mask every few washes works a treat, when leaving it in for 5-10 minutes before rinsing it out.

But while the conditioner is really great and leaves my hair silky soft, the mask really does take the treatment to the next level, clearly helping to restore my hair and make it feel and look even healthier and shinier.

I’ve also been using the 12Reasons Marula Oil Serum, which is an oil leave-in treatment that can be used in both wet and dry hair to help smooth dry hair and control frizz, restore and strengthen the hair, and adding even further softness and shine.

And it is seriously the best. The little pump bottle is super easy to use, and it only take one pump of serum for my long thick hair and frizzy hair, that’s how concentrated it is. And you can immediately see how it adds immediately adds extra hydration and nourishment to my hair, leaving it feeling so silky soft, smooth and shiny.

These products from 12Reasons really are so lovely, and my long, slightly damaged and dry colour treated hair is clearly loving it. The products are gentle, in both cleaning and removing any product build up in my hair, and leaving it feeling so silky soft and smooth, and and simply so healthy and shiny.

I also love the fact that the products are paraben and sulphate free, and safe for my coloured hair, and of course that the products are cruelty free too.

And as well as the stunning black and rose gold packaging, I also love that the shampoo, conditioner and serum all come in pump bottles as it simply makes them so much easier to use. But what I also love is that all the products have the most incredible fresh and fruity floral scent that also continues to linger in the hair after use. And considering the high quality of these products, along with the large bottles, they are also very well priced.
