Product Review: Innoxa Naturally Nude Eye Shadow Palette

As I think I’ve mentioned quite a few times, I am very conservative when it comes to my eye makeup. I love the idea of bright colours, but I usually just wear neutral shades. Here are my thoughts on the *Innoxa Naturally Nude Eye Shadow Palette;

What They Say:
"Long lasting crease free eye shadows with 4 coordinating colours in each palette to create a subtle to dramatic look. Packaged in a silver matte palette with a mirror and eye shadow applicator."

RRP: $14.95 – Available Myer, Priceline, select pharmacies, and Innoxa Online.

What I Say:

I have to be honest and admit that it is only just recently that I have come across Innoxa. I recently tried among others the Antioxidant Lip Glazes, Skin Perfecting Foundation 5 in 1 BB Cream, Pure Silk Skin Primer, and the Innoxa Invisible Lip Shaper, and loved them all so much that I now wish that I’d discovered their products sooner!

The Innoxa eye shadow palette is fragrance free and has not been tested on animals. The eye shadow palette contains 4 shades – pale beige, taupe, warm copper and dark chocolate brown. The pale beige and the dark chocolate brown shades are both matte, whereas the taupe and warm copper shades both have a small hint of shimmer.

The pale beige colour works well with my skin tone as the base colour, and the two centre colours, can be applied subtle and discreetly either on their own or together. And the dark chocolate colour is great for creating the shadow in the crease, or to use as the smoky colour around the eye.

I have combination skin, eye shadows normally don’t last long for me without the use of a primer, but I tested it without the use of a primer for the sake of this review – and was pleasantly surprised that the eye shadows lasted till around early afternoon before starting to crease and fade. But that is pretty normal on my skin, regardless of the brand of eye makeup used. When using the eye shadows with a face primer (e.g. the Innoxa Pure Silk Skin Primer) the eye shadows stayed put all day without budging.

This Naturally Nude palette is perfect palette to satisfy anyone like me who are like me and prefer using neutral, nude or smoky shades. I’m loving the four shades in the palette, as it has a good choice of colours, and unlike many other eye shadow palettes, I find every single colour in the palette to be versatile and useful. And all the colours complement each other beautifully so I don’t need to find another shade from another palette to complete my look, and there are numerous combinations of looks which can be achieved with these four colours,

The palette is great for every day wear, yet it can also to take you from day to night, as the colours are so intense that you can easily create a more intense smoky eye. The pigmentation of all the colours is very good, and if used wet, the intensity is deepened further.

The texture Innoxa eye shadows is nice and smooth, ad they feel so nice on your skin. They are very easy to apply with the two double-ended sponge-tip applicators that come the palette. However, I still prefer to use my own eye shadow brushes, and feel that I feel that I get a nicer result using those. However, the sponge-tip applicators are still of a good quality and do the job, as well as they are perfect for touch-ups on the go.

The eye shadow comes in a sleek matte silver case with a large mirror inside, which I’m loving. It is very handbag-friendly, and as the mirror is the length of the lid, and therefore rather large, it makes touch-ups on the go very easy.

All in all, I really love this Innoxa Naturally Nude eye shadow palette. At $14.99 it is such a bargain for such a high quality product. It really ticks all boxes for me, from the quality and staying power, the colours, to the sleek palette. It is just so versatile, that it has quickly become my everyday go-to eye shadow quad!

  4. I was just about to put $3 on this still packaged shadow palette for a fete on Saturday but thought I would check out the colours in it first and as my palette is still plastic-wrapped I am unable to see, so lucky I stumbled upon your review...I'm the same as you when it comes to eye shadows - I prefer the nudes, earthy tones and subtle colouring, no big, bold and bright for me. So this palette looks perfect for me and I am now going to keep it.....thanks for your review <3
