Industry News: Estée Lauder launches Pure Color Cello Shots

As I may have mentioned a few times by now, I love Estée Lauder products, so I always get very excited when I hear of new products being launched.

And now Estée Lauder is launching new Pure Color Cello Shots. A collection of soft gels and water-light finishes by Estée Lauder and Creative Makeup Director for Estée Lauder, Tom Pecheux, which washes lips and illuminates cheeks with a subtle glow of fresh colour for a look of radiant, effervescent beauty.

"This season, I’ve been working a lot with what I call "acqua color". It’s a gentle, watery look with just a touch of bright, vibrant color."  - Tom Pecheux

The new fun innovative formulas, Pure Color Cello Shots includes Pure Color Cheek Rush to flush cheeks with a sheer stain, as well as Limited Edition Pure Color Sheer Rush LipShine and Limited Edition Pure Color Sheer Rush Gloss which wash lips in a pop of crystalline colour to complete the look. Through revolutionary, watery gel finishes this playful array of bright, fluid tones surprises and delights the senses with long-lasting, lightweight and comfortable wear.

Pure Color Cheek Rush
The new Pure Color Cheek Rush is designed to brighten and excite, and is a lightweight, innovative, transparent gel that provides cheeks with a pop of sheer, juicy colour for a fresh-faced look. Its sensational water-based formula is cool to the touch and leaves cheeks feeling hydrated through an infusion of natural extracts and moisturising ingredients. A few tiny drops of the silky liquid-gel blended into the apples of cheeks will give a “just pinched” look in an instant.

The Pure Color Cheek Rush are oil-free and non-acnegenic as well as dermatologist and ophthalmologist-tested, and packaged in a new, shade-matched, high-gloss finish pump bottle with a silkscreened golden collar and Estée Lauder logo.

The Pure Color Cheek Rush will available in four colours; Hot Fuse, Pink Patent, X-Pose Rose, and Techno Jam, and will have a RRP of $60 each.

Pure Color Sheer Rush LipShine
The lightweight, innovative transparent jelly in new Pure Color Sheer Rush LipShine glides onto lips and envelopes them in sheer, wet, transparent shiny colour. Incorporating a balmy texture, this new revolutionary formula provides a unique, gel appearance with fresh, translucent colour for smooth glass-like reflections.  The Pure Color Sheer Rush LipShine is packaged in a new, shade-matched slim-line lipstick case stamped with a foil Estée Lauder logo and features a slant tip for easy application to lips.

The new Limited Edition Pure Color Sheer Rush LipShine will be available in six colours; Hot Fuse, Pink Patent, X-Pose Rose, Techno Jam, Poppy Shock and Plexi Pink and will have an RRP of $45 each.

Pure Color Sheer Rush Gloss
Another option for a succulent, “just-bitten” look is Pure Color Sheer Rush Gloss, which saturates lips in a high shine finish. Created in a unique gellified water light system, this ultra-light gloss provides a sheer wash of wet colour and glamorous shine to lips. The innovative gloss base in Pure Color Sheer Rush Gloss has film-forming co-polymers submerged in emollient esters to provide a cushion like feel on the lips and water light high shine polymers that amplify its luminous finish.

The Limited Edition Pure Color Sheer Rush Gloss will be available in six colours; Hot Fuse, Pink Patent, X-Pose Rose, Techno Jam, Poppy Shock and Plexi Pink and will have an RRP of $42 each.

The NEW Pure Color Cello Shots Collection will be available at all Estée Lauder counters nationwide and Estée Lauder Online from June 2, 2013.

I absolutely love the look of these new products, the Pure Color Cheek Rush, although I’m also always loving the lipsticks and lipglosses from Estee Lauder (If you've missed them, you can check out my previous reviews here and here).

What do you think of this new Cello Shots Collection from Estée Lauder? Any think that particularly has caught your eye? Do you use Estée Lauder products? What is your favourite?
